Yes, Mahomes may be the GOAT but he isn't the GOAT today. If we are being told he will surpass Brady that implies he has not yet. We are maybe 1/3-/2/5 through his career and it has been better than Brady so far so yes he is on pace to be the GOAT, but again if you are something will happen that implies that it has not yet. Meanwhile, I could just as easily start poking holes in Brady's Super Bowls but it would be stupid because he won them.
By the way I get you want to call Shanahan a choke artist but the reason I think no one will look back and lessen Mahomes for it is because no one buys that narrative. He is considered an offensive genius. If you want to say he is an offensive genius who seems to not be able to win the big games then I would say "are you describing Kyle Shanahan or Andy Reid before he got Mahomes?" 20-25 teams would fire their head coach on the spot if they were told Kyle Shanahan wanted to coach them.
Finally no one has said the Chiefs are invincible this year. The entire narrative around them is that they are the weakest Chiefs team in memory and that they are just barely getting these wins through a lot of fluky plays. I can hundreds if not thousands on hours of TV where the shows would call this way of winning unsustainable. That is hardly the talk that surrounds a team that is "invincible". This was probably the first Chiefs team during Mahomes era where it felt like they were scraping by.
Thank you. My only point in all of this was that people take everything they say, good and bad, a little too farMahommes being compared to brady should have never been a narrative to begin with.. i dont even know how and why people believe that kind of stupidity.
We need to draft a few fat dickheadsWe need some scumbags in the trenches
Just said that and got crucified lolI truly think Eagles just killed that Chiefs "mystique"
Just said that and got crucified lol
That was pretty hard to watch… To be honest I am glad it’s over as it got to be too much. I feel bad for Hopkins as I really wanted him to get one, but honestly he is about done. I think we are in for a tough couple years as there are some big holes that will need addressing after that debacle. Reid really had a poor game calling plays and Pat played like dogshit. Ready for royals baseball in a month or so. I need a break.@Carptom1 sorry man
hie fans feel the same way. I have never thought mahomes to be the best QB In football ball, but what he has possessed that others haven’t was a coach that accentuates what is good with him and minimizes his flaws. This is the 3rd time I have seen him melt in the playoffs and this may have been the worst one. He is a fierce competitor and will always be in there but this one will sting awhile. Reid and his game plan sucked balls. Next year will be a tough one for sure.Don't get me wrong the Chiefs have been a dynasty, but I wonder if when all is said and done we'll realize they weren't quite as good as we thought they were.
To get it out of the way, I acknowledge the nearly unprecedented continuous post season success.
But like, it's just funny. They beat the 49ers with Jimmy G and Purdy for 2 of them. Both with Shanahan as the coach known to be the biggest choke artist in the league. And they scraped out a win against a very young Jalen Hurts Eagles team. They were demolished against Tampa and Hurts v2.
Ultimately, I think they've played extremely high floor football for a long time now. They stick the blade into undisciplined teams and find ways to win. But they've always seemingly been this team where if the opponent is truly better, they've got no shot. Maybe that's true of any team.
It just seems to me that maybe the boogeyman aspect of playing the Chiefs may begin to fade a little.
Personality wise or we gonna pull Justin Tucker into combine measurement meetings? We need to draft a few fat dickheads
If we would have made it, our oline would have had their hands full last night. They came to play. One of my biggest fears now is the Eagles have scared people back into drafting OL this year

Thank you! It's crazy to me that you, the Chiefs can can come in and say that honestly when my own Ravens fans are like wtf. Mahomes is great. He'll continue to be great. The Chiefs will very likely win more SBs during his career. He's probably not going to win 7. That's ok lolReal c

Bills fans are quickly becoming miserable and intolerable creatures like Bengals fans a few years ago. I guess you gotta celebrate minor wins when your poverty franchise is 0-4 in the Super BowlI will say I appreciate you guys more than some of the other fan bases… While I know you guys are tired of the Chiefs winning ( as I would be) it seems to me at least some of you can appreciate what it has taken for them to achieve this level of success over the last 6-7 years. The Bills board is so happy you would have thought that they actually won something. Kind of sad really.
After last night, the entire first two rounds should be nothing but OL & DL. They dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball, and they did it without really getting pressure. That to me is the biggest thing for us, we don't have defensive lineman who can take over a game. Sure we got Madubiuke but he gets doubled every game which should mean someone should benefit from that and get free. One of the reasons I wanted Jordan Davis a couple years ago, I wanted that big DL in the middle of our defense. Could you imagine having Davis AND Madubiuke on the same line these past few years? One of my biggest fears now is the Eagles have scared people back into drafting OL this year
Yeah, nobody out of the AFC would have won regardless of who it was. The AFC needs to beef up their offensive lines knowing the Eagles defensive line is potentially waiting for them in the Super Bowl.If we would have made it, our oline would have had their hands full last night. They came to play.
I didn't want Davis. Wanted Hamilton the whole time he kept falling. Got worried when Eagles jumped us. Would be nice to get another player who could consistently win their 1 on 1s.After last night, the entire first two rounds should be nothing but OL & DL.
