The Random Thought Thread

Flacco just wasn’t ready for the Steelers, but I’m sure there was some BS homejob going on I’m forgetting about. I know 2010 had the punt called back and then they called Ngata on a hold on a goal line stand. Steeler refs were something else, although nothing can top Taylor swift refs
2010 was unadulterated bullshit with those calls, then boldin dropped a game winner, then housh dropped the potential comeback drive extender. We lost 2008 fair and square we didn’t have any business being within 1 score before the pick six at the end

H***h was a double agent and I will NOT be convinced otherwise. Fuck him.

08 was a strange year for us, we had no business going that far but we just forced so many turnovers and timely ones at that, it was crazy. Also that might still be the most run heavy offense I’ve ever watched.
I still think if we don't do steelers dirty work that year, titans make bowl.

Wasn't the Boldin drop to tie?

And to add to the fuckery wasn't that the 4th down game, where a TO called and Steelers center kept moving ball up.

2010 was a terrible choke job. Still remember that as the "black and yellow game"

Thats what made the 2011 opener so beautiful.

Bills going to get the same damn energy

Edit: Went back to watch the highlights and I'm more pissed

at least 2011 and 2023. I still refuse to believe that the refs weren't paid by Mahomes to win them that game.
It really was disgusting to watch, I’ll forever hate that ref. Kelce literally punching ppl and we get called, Likely mauled twice. OBJ held but also screw him anyway and his one decent play a game all year then hurt for the rest.

2023 bothers me immensely more than 2024, but the Lamar era while amazing has been haunted by the playoff losses, not that we needed a reminder

We better do that to the Bills, otherwise it’s 2x years of getting beaten back to back by the team that outed us. Getting pretty sick of it all

yeah man. Likely getting tackled while being thrown to with no flag is what convinced me (I believe he was also the one hooked during the interception as well). Zay also getting flagged for celebrating a good play while Kelce was talking shit all game as well. it's painful to talk about.

this year sucked as well but we shot ourselves in the foot against Buffalo. the refs giving the game to the Chiefs in the AFC title afterwards didn't make me feel any better

I’ve come to the realization that justice hill is way better than I’ve given him credit for.

Todd monken has really woke him up, he sucked ass in Greg Roman’s offense but monken uses him brilliantly. Plus Lamar trusts him a great deal, he’s comfortable with him in pass pro and lamar gives him a lot of opportunities in the pass game, like low percentage throws you don’t typically do with a rb.

Justice Hill is a nice security blanket

He was having a great game against the Bills, lost touches when we had to chase the scoreboard.
