Off today, back at it tomorrow@Simba , is practice today or does it start tomorrow?
I disagree. It actually makes perfect sense. Also our record doesn't make sense. If you have a top 12 or maybe top 10 roster, even with some injuries, you shouldn't be 1-5. "But the schedule is tough!" Who gives a fuck? You should be near 500 at the very worst if you have a higher end roster.
I'm not excusing it, but we got hit with the "when it rains, it storms" shit to start the year...Also our record doesn't make sense. I like how you put it, priorities out of order. Not that I think that, but there’s optics involved for sure. Your team is 1-5 and supposed to be a Super Bowl contender and you’re on the sideline, now isn’t a great time to be flexing.Yeah for sure lt definitely is a generational thing for sure lol. Im far from old so I get it but sometimes I be thinking they be having their priorities out of order but how can you really say that when it comes to a guy like Lamar or any others that's really do be putting the extra time in to be great and to win. So it is what it is but man it be confusing me lol . I be like come on LJ I see you stunting like its cash money from 1999 to the 2000's but why lol.
It’s a big reason why the nfl feels so different now. There used to be team vs team rivalries that ran deep, mfs HATED eachother, but now everyone is buddies and mfs stay cool because they wanna have a podcast guest or a future potential business partner. There are guys on this team that have personal photographers on the payroll for things like walking into the stadium, pregame warmups, random events, etc. I could have all of the money in the world and that is absolutely not something I'm ever paying for, but guys these days are different. It's become a thing to build a personal brand.
I'd give anything to see Michael Crabtree and Aqib Talib throw hands againIt’s a big reason why the nfl feels so different now. I agree, that is irritating. I’m still more bothered by going for it on our own 20 or 30 yd line. That is never a good thing and give the opponent an easy touchdown.Well we probably should’ve went for it late against Buffalo.
What bothers me most is going for it in fg range, we fall short on the first one and we spend the rest of the game chasing it, often losing by less than the amount of points we left on the board.
So many times if we just took the first fg, and then took every other fg, we would’ve very likely won.
Plus Mahomes can win a Super Bowl on one leg with high ankle sprain and our QB & our guys are out for 3 weeks with a sore musclesWhen the playoffs come around, the chiefs are gonna quietly cruise to the 1 or 2 seed, Pacheco and kelce will keep the chains moving and we’ll say “they can’t just keep barely making these plays can they? Andy Reid can’t dial up one of these on EVERY third and fourth down can he?” But they will keep doing it. A deep completion or two to further the lead every game, a few flags, and their defense, and boom they cruise to another Super Bowl and it’s gonna feel like they didn’t even do anything special to get there.
It will take a heroic effort from a star qb like Lamar or Allen, on top of help from the refs, and bad luck/poor execution/missed opportunities from the chiefs, for anyone to have a chance of stopping this trend.
The chiefs are too much of a well oiled machine. They are every bit as good, if not better, than Belichicks patriots. Mahomes isn’t Brady, but as a whole they are such a well coached team, I’m truly jealous of what those fuckers have as a coaching staff and the fact that they never really have to worry about losing their playbook on either side of the ball due to coordinators leaving for HC jobs.

Have to imagine the optics matter drastically more to the fans than the players or teams.I like how you put it, priorities out of order. Not that I think that, but there’s optics involved for sure. Think that spot he got food from not that far from me. Might have to hit it up
