The Random Thought Thread

I agree and share the same sentiment that he should've been given more time as a positional coach before being handed the keys to the D.
It may have worked very well if he went to Seattle and continued under Mike Mac, it’s like an OC protege following the same offensive savant head coach everywhere. John harbaugh doesn’t have the vision and playcalling prowess to be that guy for Orr, he’s not gonna be able to develop a coordinator from nothing.

On the Monken front, this seems like an attempt to scapegoat and deflect externally. I think it’s clear the entire staff and the players are reeling internally. I think we know where it’s headed from here.

If they move on from Monken before Orr I might for the first time give up on the Ravens during a season. I have always had faith that this team would win even when injured and down but that move would probably remove that faith for me. Monken has made some dumb calls but his offense with Lamar is top in the league with a bad OL. Orr’s defense on the other hand is trash.

Including Harbaugh?

The AFC North is 0-3 outside of us, which is virtually a perfect week. More of this good fortune, please.

Random shout, but CB Joey Porter Jr. has 33 penalties through 2 and a half seasons. By far my biggest negative note on him was that at the breaks of the routes, he was very often grab-not-stab. But even then, he's currently in uncharted territory as the most penalized defender in football throughout that span and by a significant margin.
