The Random Thought Thread

Rudolph at 16? Awful. Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield, Jackson and Allen are all probably better. I'm perfectly happy if a QB gets taken between rounds 2-4. But I'm not convinced that this is the year they do it, unless one of the top 5 falls to Round 2.
Benkert, stidham, and falk are also way better

So what position do you think we should focus on in rounds 1, 2 and 3?
My ideal draft would be mark Andrews, Anthony miller, and then another wr, or an OL or pass rusher in round 3, Trenton Thompson out of Georgia could boost our interior rush big time, which is something we desperately need

I recall that artice, I loved it at the time. Didn't know it was him writing it.
Think he’s going to be a very good hire. Would I like having him as our wr coach. Absolutely, but I also believe he is going to help Joe tremendously. I also believe he will help out with the wr.

bleacher reports mock draft has us taking qb mason rudolph from oklahoma st. no way we draft a qb in the 1st but if rudolph was drafted by us what would you all think.

bahahahahahahahaha - im not opposed to qb but rudolph isnt even a 2nd round level qb let alone the 16th pick in the draft

Yeah, I don't mind. Those are titles, we'll see how it goes but it's definitely a step in the right direction however you look at it. Everytime I see Urban's name I see the mention "very respected around the league". This could low key be a big time addition.

yeah these positional coaching titles are nebulous in lots of cases... greg roman is our TE coach but he's more of our run game coordinator and likely defines how d'allesandris runs the oline...

likewise urban will likely have to discuss with engram how the receivers should be seeing the field and what they should do to react to certain coverages etc...

Yeah QB and WR are connected like heart and kidneys

Exactly. That articles shows it well, as he's able to put himself in the QB's head as well as the WR's.

Who would think that Tyrod would make it back to the playoffs before us? Congrats, though.
I’m struggling because I want to cheer for Tyrod but I want to cheer for the Jags because they have a better chance of beating the Steelers than the Titans do if the Bills win.

Not the way they are playing now they don’t. Neither team has much of a chance.

The Steelers are nowhere near as good as there record. They are not making the SB and whether they lose the next round or in championship game they are still losing.

I got a question since we kinda mentioned the Steelers: do you guys think our pass-rush could actually pressure Big Ben for a change next season with their top 5 OL? That's the difference right there.

Possible, depends if Bowser and TWill step up along with more improvement from Judon was Henry
