Training Camp

The reporter from the sun(not going to even attempt to spell his name or say it) said that Weddle's injury isn't serious. And I'd imagine if Elumenor's was serious we would have heard about it.
Adeboyejo appeared to injure his leg towards the end of practice as well per Lombardi

Also Maclin, Stanley and Bowser didn't practice

Has anyone given any thought to this...The one constant through the last 3-4 injury riddled seasons...

Michael Campanaro. He's to blame for all these injuries. Book it.

Given that those three are major pieces on the team, if it was serious we would be breaking it as big time news. Not a concern.

So Jimmy's contract was restructured.... doubling our cap space. What do you guts think Ozzie has up his sleeve?

i think it's a combo of making space for rule of 51 because we were projected to be 1 million over the cap before the restructure as well as maybe making space for any camp cuts

I got the impression from today's comments on Stanley is that he's in a Flacco-like situation where the injury doesn't appear to be long-term but putting him in risk would be a huge problem.

The way I see it is that there are really only 3 players who, if significant injury hit, would basically foreclose any success this year: Flacco, Stanley, Mosley. Losing other guys definitely hurts, but losing one of those three probably drops what could otherwise be a 9-7 season to a 5-11 season or worse- primarily because of the lack of depth behind each of them and the importance of their positions. The Ravens also probably view certain players as indispensable- its probably a longer list than mine, but I would guarantee that Stanley is a guy they aren't going to risk even a little before the regular season.

Here is my worry about perriman. It's clear that its a grade 2 strain. That can be anywhere from 4-8 weeks BUT is generally 100% fully healded in 12 weeks. He's again, behind the ball. He might not be fully fit until week 3 or 4 of the season.

With Stanley i predict they will hold him out for 2 weeks.

I think we need to make a move for Andrew Norwell who's a free agent next year. He's a top 10 guard in this league and a perfect scheme fit. So far, with more injuries than seemingly the entire NFL combined, ozzie hasn't made one move to improve the O line. He needs to make a statement. ( and no, zuttah is not a statement, feels more like a sense of defeat)

We all expect injuries to happen but its scary to think that we've only got to the 1st preseason game and we have already lost 7 players for the season and a few to long term ones. Makes you wonder what this team will look like by mid season. Could easily break an NFL record.

This is what I want ozzie to do. Trade a 3rd and 6th for Norwell (whos way better than alex lewis anyway).

Stanley, Norwell, Jensen, Yanda, Howard

6'6 325 6'6 325 6'4 318 6'3 315 6'7 335

that line will dominate in the run game.

Honestly im more worried about Jimmy going down than Mosley. When I ended up making that list of past SB teams I realized Ozzie is right about how important an elite secondary is and the Ravens are already down 2 corners already.

Do we know the Panthers want to move him? If they do, do we know that a 3rd and 6th will be enough to get him?
