that was my point in the posts above - there's never been this much qb talent in the league with this few starting and backup jobs vacant before either - when glennon got that money there were 15-20 franchise (or potential franchise) qbs in the league - now you're looking at a maximum of 6 teams who maybe need to go out and get a qb and let's be honest it's gonna be more like 3 at most given the newness of some of those qb contracts...

id love it if RGIII got enough money this offseason to net us a comp pick but i just dont see it happening - if anything i see us re-signing him for a similar deal as this year again

Too many posts to reply to them all individually, and this is a Joe Flacco topic so I don’t want to digress too much. I just think Rob will get overvalued somewhere by someone. Yes, you’re right there’s a lot of talent but also some coaches will lose their jobs and some coaches may want to bring in Rob. Also, we don’t know what QB gets injured close to the end of the year and maybe Rob gets a chance to come in and start for them. I think someone will get excited by what they saw from him in the preseason and sign him to a deal probably a one year or maybe a two year nothing crazy. I guess we’ll have to see what happens. A lot of football season to go. He may not even be here if a contender loses their QB before the deadline.

I actually know his family bro! I went to church with them back when I lived in Killeen, Texas and watched him grow up ballin out in Copperas Cove and Baylor. His name is Robert Griffin III.

They (his family) affectionately call him "RG3" because he's the 3rd. That's simple to understand!

It's a great and catchy nickname for him. I never got all of this "hate" over his personal name.

Cool! Though I’m having trouble hearing his Mom yelling out the front door, “Dinner’s ready RG3”. Or is wife “Oh RG3 baby! LMAO!

And to be honest, your helter skelter like response to this simple question is one of the main reasons for why I feel about our Ravens gameplay the way that I do. In Forret Gump fashion; the Ravens are like a box of chocolates....from week to week....you never know what you're going to get!" If you buy into all of the hype....they burn you by losing to either teams they should beat or by defensively making sub-par and "rookie" QB's look like Hall of Famers. And, just when you doubt that they'll win...based upon their past piss poor performances....they burn you by dominating their opponents-looking like world beaters in the process! Insane!

It's the conundrum known as the Baltimore Ravens! So, let's beat the brownies.....please!
