4 bad games....
 
*two bad games in a row

Really the Carolina game was awful. The Steelers game, Joe could have played better but also on the first fucking drive he was literally hit/sacked like 5 times in a row.

I’d love to see the offense with a balanced running game and Joe playing. Even if Joe is sharing drives/snaps with Lamar.
 
But wasn't Lamar ruining Joe's rhythm? Remember when that was the excuse... Yall just desperate to get your guy back on the field. lol

I’d rather see whole drives shared as opposed to just throwing one or the other in randomly in the middle of a drive.

But if ones going to do that it makes more sense to throw Joe in on a few plays than Lamar.

I really dont think you can get that run game without the threat of LJ running as well, its a catch 22. You want passing stats, go with Joe. Ball control run game, go with LJ. Just my opinion

Well that’s why I feel like Lamar as starter wih joe coming in for a few drives or on certain downs would be intriguing.

But we don’t know for sure if the running game would dissipate under Joe...Edwards wasn’t in with Joe really and perhaps confidence among the line would carry over

Either way eventually you need to find a balance of run/pass if you expect to be a legitimate contender. We had that with Joe 2008 - 2012 with Rice and in 2014 under Kubrick. Without a legitimate running game Joe will not / has not been sucessful. I will also say that Lamar will not be sucessful without balance. We have played 3 crappy run defenses during our last 3 games. KC also has a bottom 3rd run D, so maybe we win this one in the same fashion. Lamar does bring another dimension to the running game but defenses will figure out how to stop this.

I’m not advocating playing both Joe and Lamar to get tha t balance either. Too easy for defense to figure out what’s coming. I just say if you’ve decided that Lamar is our guy to finish the year then let him have at it. Let him sling it around if need be. He’s gonna go through some growing pains and it may cost us a playoff birth but if joes time here is over then let’s get this kid ready for the future.
 
Speaking of most people being incompetent when it comes to football I just saw a comment on Facebook someone said ray Lewis and haloti ngata should be our head coach and defensive coordinators next year lol
