Joe Flacco

i almost hope flacco misses the entire season, so ravens fans can finally remember what its like to actually have a qb that isnt good, maybe then theyll understand how good we have it with flacco.

not really though, let them stay ignorant, i dont give a shit, i still prefer wins.

No Josh Woodrum is already miles better than flacco he deserves a chance at starting this year I mean he killed it out there with the 3rd team why couldn't he with the first team?

I would love to see him start against the Bills to see him against the starters. I personally think he earned it but I doubt that would happen. I have been impressed but I need to see more.

To be honest I wish the Ravens played a team that wasn't the Bills in the most important preseason game. Bills are on the downward trend. I think would rather gauge this team's talent against the Patriots 2nd string players over the Bills..

Tyrod is a solid quarterback and they are wasting him. They need weapons around him. Unfortunately how many years until McCoy starts to decline?

If this isn't sarcasm then it's the single stupidest post ever made on this forum.

Even after his ropey season last year, about 10 teams would have pursued Joe if we'd released him whereas we got Woodrum off the street. But, of course, you're right. What do all the teams in the NFL know about football, anyway?

(The teams that I guess would have wanted Flacco are Denver, San Francisco, Jacksonville, Chicago, Cleveland, Jets, Buffalo, Houston with Miami, Cincinnatti, Kansas, Rams and Arizona as maybes.)

Complete sarcasm

So Flacco hasn't played a single series in the preseason? Resting his back? Kool! I can get with that! However, I'm truly wondering what all of the excuses for his being flat, lethargic, sluggish, off and the under and overthrows he'll make vs the Bengals? Let me guess....the WR's didn't run the right routes? Just wondering...

So Flacco hasn't played a single series in the preseason? Resting his back? Kool! But what will the "EXCUSES" being made for him if (as I expect he'll do) he comes out off, flat, lethargic and just flat out under and overthrowing his receivers? Just wondering...
What are you insinuating? Joe's going to be rusty. That's to be expected having not played a preseason snap and having a back injury. Is that not a reasonable "excuse"? I'd like him to be more energetic and accurate too but it's unfair and flat out delusional to expect him to be 100 percent by game one. I'd be surprised if he was "100 percent" by game four.

Again I ask.
Is it a smoke screen?
Our starting QB hasn't had a snap since God knows when and won't be back til game 1 of the regular season, and you're pondering whether there's a smoke screen somewhere? What do we have to conceal? Why would an injury to our QB be a smoke screen? What on earth are you getting at?

If the injury lingers and hinders range of motion, that is one thing. But I shouldn't expect to see rust if Flacco is afforded a week of practice.
