Joe Flacco

No other quarterback in NFL history is going to be as good as Aaron Rodgers so comparing to him is not fair....

throwing for 222 yards 0 TD and 0 TO is not great.
there is nothing great about this at all.

its good and that is about it.

if he threw for some TD then yeah id say great , if he threw for some picks then id say he played like shit.

he did neither so id say it was a good game for his standards.

the tds shouldnt really affect how you think about his performance though - because we still scored tds when we needed to in the offence he was running - it just happened that we got into the end zone without passing...

if hed been missing throws and that was why we didnt score tds then sure but i can think of only one poor decision throw in the endzone he made all day yesterday

and if Watson hadn't dropped the ball he would have had one.

Is what he's saying that far off? What are our expectations for players? It was a good game, not great. The Raiders defense is dumpster juice, but will congratulate for him finally not sucking. If there's someone on offense who needs credit, I'd say it probably goes to Howard. If someone told me we wouldn't allow I sack against them, I'd ask them to pass the joint...

Agree, it was a good game. Now lets do it again....

Joe's technique looked good, and he finally showed that trademark confidence that borders on arrogance, but I'm not all that impressed. Passing touchdowns don't always come due to the nature of our offense and wanting to run the ball in the red zone, so I won't hold that against him, but I wouldn't say this game was anything more than average. It's sad that average is what we've come to describe as a good day.

On the other hand, if this is what Joe can do when the oline shows up and we're playing with the lead the whole game, I think we're in good shape.

to some it was even a great performance lol

Dan Patrick touched on this today, he sort of agreed with the statement that Rodgers has a particular skill set that no other quarterback has had, at least not to the degree that he has excelled in it. If he wins another Super Bowl or two, he might be just below Brady.

If you don't think Brady is the GOAT at this point, I've no time to listen to your opinion.

It was a good game. A typical Joe Flacco game that we haven't seen in a while. He plays decent and makes a handful of great plays.

I feel like this was more along the lines of a Joe Flacco from 2011 game. Makes a handful of good plays to put the team in a position to score/win and didn't do anything overly stupid. Not elite, but not necessarily a game manager either. Just good enouogh. If he plays like that for the rest of the year, we're probably going to win more games than anticipated.

I'm hoping he keeps it up. I have some doubts. But overall.. Good game. Please keep it up Joe...

Pretty much what I said. He never used to get most of his touchdowns down inside the five, we usually ran the ball and his touchdowns were more often coming from the 45-25 yard range. Play mistake free and take what's given, take shots when it makes sense. It's not elite, but honestly who cares? If it wins games, I'll take it.

Technically, Joe's regular season started this week. If that's a sign of things to come...

But I know somehow Joe will let me down to a degree.

Rodgers is the greatest QB talent I think I've ever seen. Bad OL, injuries at wr and trash run games numerous years and never seem that big a drop off. With better coaching and a real defense he'd have multiple rings... too bad he's wasting away on that GB team. If Rodgers played on those old Packers squads good chance he has at least 3.

Dare I say better than Tom Brady... because in my opinion Arod is the greatest I’ve ever watched he can beat you on his feet and in the air it’s simply amazing

Athletically of course. I think both are just as smart. If Rodgers was on the Patriots the time Brady has I think he has more rings than Brady does.

I'm sorry, Rodgers isn't in the same atmosphere level as Brady.

Brady

Everyone else

Anyone who disagrees with this needs to get the purple dildos out of their ass. I don't like it but there's no disputing Brady as the GOAT. Period. Rodgers is more athletic, but he's not on his level.
