Joe Flacco

If we draft a guy high Joe may very well end up on the bench. I'm sure he'd be put off at having to compete for the job.
Would we really suck it up and admit a mistake by benching the highest player on our team though?

If we have a top ten pick in this upcoming draft, are you guys open to drafting one of the top QBs?

Not knowing who is available I would prefer a top tier o lineman first.
Yanda days are numbered too.
Putting any rookie or second year guy behind this line is setting them up for failure.
A QB second or third makes more sense to me.
If not that maybe even a year later.

Good points.. going to be an interesting offseason for sure.

Talent in this class looks like it's superior than the one next class. If we can get our hands on Rosen, Darnold, or Allen we'd be foolish not to take advantage of it.

That said, I agree. Joe certainly is part of the problem, but this offense is just a clusterfuck in general. Outside of Maclin and Collins we either can't stay healthy, or have shit personel.

I do believe that a offensive overhaul is coming tbh... But this should put Ozzie on the hot seat if anything tbh. If he doesn't address the offense this offseason, he's done too. Harbaugh's gone and so is his coaching staff. Little doubt in my mind at this point.

Defense has the talent, but I think it's clear that we're missing Frazier to an extent.

But yeah. Not happy with Joe, but I think with better personel he can turn it around.

Ozzie better address the fucking offense though

I will be completely shocked offense is not picks 1, 2, and 3, unless there is an absolute defense beast available at our #1 then maybe. Maybe.
But I will bet my bottom dollar offense is 1, 2, and 3.
I also think we make a few splash signings on the offensive side of the ball in free agency. Well.. At least we better. Fuck.

I can't get mad at him for the Vikings game but sometimes you wish he would move around the pocket and keep plays alive.
He did once and ran around for about 5 secs and their de tracked all the way back abd stripped him while no wrs got open and our oline stood watching

The full way I see it, we can be drafting anywhere from around 5-15. If we are close to 5, I actually wouldn't be mad taking a defensive player as much as I hate this offensive shit show. The conditions would be Rosen, Darnold, and Barkley off the board. The next best players are all defensive, and there is a huge drop off at offensive after that, and I mean huge (besides tackles, but we shouldn't touch in the first). Key, Landry, and Minkah are damn good. Also, I know line help is important but I think Nelson is far from a savior of our offense. I understand how much he can change a team, but if I gave you the option (exaggerated for emp.) have Levon Bell (Barkley), or Zach Martin (Nelson). I get he would indeed help us a lot, I just think there is such a lack of talent elsewhere, where our guards aren't that bad (when returning from injury, and Hurst).

I really don't think the Ravens draft Joe's replacement for a few years. I think even if they are a top-10 pick they view themselves as a few pieces from competing again. Flacco didn't turn the ball over which is the only thing we could've asked for.

for someone with the highest cap hit in the NFL we should ask for a lot more then just not turn the ball over......

Yeah, this is the most logical and likely direction. Just getting back the boatload of guys on IR will help, but I really think they need to find a solid, dependable #1 WR and a RB that presents a threat(Dixon, not sure). Another young stud drafted(RT)to add to the guys returning should fix the O line. Not that any of that guarantees success for Joe, but history says it will.
