Joe Flacco

for someone with the highest cap hit in the NFL we should ask for a lot more then just not turn the ball over......
He has the highest cap hit because if we didn't pay him someone else would have. Teams are paying $15+ million a year for a lot worse it's not like he is getting paid in a whole different ball park than all the other quarterbacks in the league.

What more do you want for him? After the Wallace injury the Ravens had 18 players on their injury list that does not include the IR list. Sure a lot of them played still but most were at limited capacity. So adding the IR list of players that is also around 18 (I can't find a number online), the Ravens have about 36 injuries to their team. Which means they are 11 off of having a complete gameday roster of injuries. And it isn't even the middle of the season yet.

I get it, everyone is critical and wants a Rodgers or a Brady, but no one is them. Brady has a shit ton of weapons, Rodgers is the most athletically gifted quarterback by far I have ever watched and possibly all time. Flacco had Chris Moore, Griff Whalen, and Michael Campanaro as his only wide receivers last week. He is out his top 2 running backs.

The offense is shit all around and it isn't all Flacco's fault. Even the commentators at CBS who are usually very critical of Flacco yesterday at halftime were saying how it was a shame there was no weapons around Flacco because of injuries and if you look even across the division you would take any team's weapons over ours. The whole team is underperforming as a whole even the defense.

There isn't a magic recipe to fix this. The Ravens are too injury plagued and if they want to compete they have to fix it because in the past three seasons they probably have more injuries than any other team in 10 outside maybe the Chargers.

If I were Flacco I would be requesting a trade to get off of this shitty team. It is bad all-around. I hope he does leave just to prove whiny fans how spoiled they were to have a decent quarterback in this league and how we wasted his prime.

Not knowing who is available I would prefer a top tier o lineman first.
Yanda days are numbered too.
Putting any rookie or second year guy behind this line is setting them up for failure.
A QB second or third makes more sense to me.
If not that maybe even a year later.

They saying this is a heavy draft for QBs so we gotta walk away with at least one and I agree 2nd or 3rd rd would be best. I really those 2 guys from Penn St and Syracuse if they draftable. Some serious scrappers. I really could care less about size and arm strength. Its more about decision making and some maneuverability.

who exactly is a lot worse then flacco that is getting 15 mil+ ?

Says more about you then anything else tbh.

Both are better then Flacco , neither is a lot worse....
Eli struggles with OBJ and Marshall. Palmer struggles with Fitzgerald and David Johnson (when he was healthy).

I would definitely take Flacco over both. If you don't that is dumb.

I don't know what it says about me. I was at work to not search up any quarterbacks right away.

I think we should sit Joe for atleast one game and let Mallett play. I’m not saying it will be better, but maybe this will light a fire.

Not sure about that. In game warmups prior to the Denver game, Eli was helping his receivers in their get offs. I believe Eli is the better qb to Flacco. Palmer is easily a better qb than Flacco.

Both Marshall and OBJ are injured and on IR, with Sheppard also injured.
Eli best games came when OBJ was on the field and he was far from struggling lol.
Lost his top 3 receivers , with a worse o-line, far worse running game, inexperienced TE , yet has still been doing better then flacco.

David Johnson did not even play a full game this season.
Fitzgerald is 34 years old.
worse o-line, far worse running game , sacked way more times then flacco.
Palmer is freaking 38 years old at that.
If palmer is struggling then what would you call what flacco is doing lol

I wouldn’t bother, just a troll.
He’s a troll because his opinion differs than yours ha! You get more hilarious every single day.

God our fan base is a bunch of trolls.

Joe isn't perfect, but he's been better since week 4 which makes sense considering he missed 4 weeks of training camp and preseason.

If the car is broken you don't blame the driver when you aren't getting anywhere.

He did once and ran around for about 5 secs and their de tracked all the way back abd stripped him while no wrs got open and our oline stood watching
I think I saw Camp open on a play that could've been huge if he had avoided the pressure and kept the play alive. Is that asking for a lot? Yes, but sometimes your QB can't be a pure pocket passer and will have to move around. We see all of the top QBs do it but in the end, Elamanour is literally holding this OL back, I would be surprise if Bergstrom doesn't take over because he's literally holding this OL back.

I just can't blame Joe, he didn't turn the ball over and our ST screwed up by giving Minnesota good field position, obviously you would like for him to just make plays but the run-game was stuffed and the OL couldn't pass protect, not to mention those awful snaps from Jensen. I just think the guy did as much as he could.

I was happy that he targeted Moore when he got a step on Waynes, Joe hasn't really been that aggressive this season but it seems like he felt a sense of urgency to get the deep passing game involved. I just wish the pass was more accurate so Moore could've made a play, but it's a difficult throw to make since you don't want a CB like Waynes who has size and the leaping ability to make a play on the ball.

I agree so much with this. I'm not sure what people expected yesterday, I am way more disappointed in the pathetic defense who can't stop a one dimensional offense without their best WR and RB.

Dean Pees must go, this has gone on long enough. Flacco is not the biggest problem on this team, once Maclin comes back I bet they'll start getting better
