Week 1 Discussion (Other Teams)

Of course not, it just speaks volumes about the depth. Or maybe they are still all on vacation and have forgotten how to cover and tackle
I was more saying that because of Chris Collingsworth. Every single damn excuse he could give for the Patriots, he did. And it sounded nonsensical.

This isn't a typical BB defense, especially not when they went out and spent massive coin on Gilmore. I don't think this will be the norm.

Well, if the players intend to make it a norm, not too many of them will be in NE by week 4.

Oh yeah thats typical collingsworth. Its hard to watch primetime games, theres always some nonsense commentary. I miss madden in the booth.

Look, I get it: Hightower is really integral to the defense. He's a damn good player.

But come on- they didn't shift around multiple positions and the responsibilities are generally going to be the same across the league. It doesn't mean that the other players somehow cannot function without Hightower in there.

Chiefs @ Patriots: Last time the Chiefs and Pats opened up the season, Brady got injured and made Matt Cassel a very rich person one year later, ironically with the Chiefs. The Chiefs look to derail the Pats' celebration by scoring a big upset. Giants, Ravens and Patriots are only SB Champs to lose on opening night.

New England Patriots...... You know what happens when your the defending Super Bowl Champions and lose on Opening Night?

Do You?

YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!

Chiefs were the far superior team tonight! Far superior in every aspect of play. They outplayed the Pats on offense, defense and special teams and kudos to them for whipping the snot out of the hapless Patriots. It is kind of ironic that the game before this the same Pats won the SB with an epic comeback. Sad thing is Brady looked old, Gronk's days of dominance seem over, their defense is a sieve and their offense lacks punch. Where do the Pats go from here pundits? Where do your darling Pats go? Staring down a cliff I assure you!
