The WR Thread

Darren Carrington is a guy thats not being talked about much but has a ton of upside. Has great hands, very strong reliable hands (10 3/8 inch) and good length. Hes going to be a day 3 pick because he had a DUI that got him kicked off Oregon so he finished his career at Utah and still excelled as the peimary target. I dont think a DUI will keep him off our board especially since his hands are his primary bread winner. Which is exactly what weve been looking for.

He is a beast! NFL ready imo!

So far as draft visits and wideouts, the Ravens are doing a lot with late round and small school guys thus far:
Justin Watson
Brandon Shed??
Daurice Fountain
Jeff Badet
I'm really happy that the Ravens have looked into Fountain. I think with a little experience, Fountain could become a really good WR2.

do you remember if we were ever connected with meeting with marlon humphrey last year?
Nope. The Ravens never officially looked into or met with Humphrey. Ozzie might have called up some of his contacts at Alabama to double check things, but that's about it.

Shed is a name I'd not heard before but he sounds intriguing.
6'4 ..good route runner, stretches the field so he has good speed.

Jaleel Scott makes some spectacular catches on film. Hes 6'5 and ran a 4.56. Really intrigued by his skill set. Gets more seperation than most of the big bodied recievers in this draft and is being vastly overlooked

It sounds too good to be true.

A few scouting reports I just found online say he’s big, got decent speed, early 4.5s, runs good routes, has good hands...but like...why is he playing division 3 football lol

Justin Watson ran a 4.41 40 and recorded a forty inch vertical at his pro day.

His agent is Joe Linta.

He is 6'3 225lbs.

so looks like the Panthers are big fans of DJ Moore - if we want him we're gonna have to take him before the 24th pick i think
also looks like DJ killed his pro day too

Beat me to it, just saw the reviews.

Smashed his pro day, stock is rising...wonder if its enough for us to take him at 16
