if we do grab him thats cool but i hope we dnt let pro days decide on thatBeat me to it, just saw the reviews.
Smashed his pro day, stock is rising...wonder if its enough for us to take him at 16

I read they were on LFW. Anyway he's prob going at the Ravens pro day for local prospects isn't he?Ravens werent present at moore pro day. Im sure they done enough scouting on him already..

On BRThere were reps from all 32 teams there - not sure where you’ve seen otherwise...

He has tremendous tape to support a good pro dayif we do grab him thats cool but i hope we dnt let pro days decide on that
Oh i know. I like him! I was just saying bad pro day or good pro day, it shouldnt matterHe has tremendous tape to support a good pro day
It should be a tool to use. Maybe they notice something from the pro day and go back and revisit the tape for some reason or another.Oh i know. I like him! I was just saying bad pro day or good pro day, it shouldnt matter
It would be hard deciding on him and ridley at 16 if we were to pick a wrHe has tremendous tape to support a good pro day
True. That makes sense! It should be a tool to use. Maybe they notice something from the pro day and go back and revisit the tape for some reason or another.

If you put it in a vacuum I agree. I believe Ridley is more like to be a plug and play WR with his fantastic route running and ability to run all the routes. Ridley has veteran route running ability and the ability to stop on a dime that many veterans never learn how to do. Not saying Moore couldn't run all the routes, but he wasn't used that way in college. It would be hard deciding on him and ridley at 16 if we were to pick a wr
appreciate that, I didn't here that at all and again another reason to make it a very difficult decision.norv turner had him running some very specific routes probably to see how he ran them given that there isnt a huge amount of film on his route tree given the qb play in maryland...
also he didnt drop a single ball all day...
im guessing all he did was cement himself as easily the 2nd receiver on every board and likely the 1st on some people's
Have you seen his pro day? If so how was his catching form? A lot of body catches?norv turner had him running some very specific routes probably to see how he ran them given that there isnt a huge amount of film on his route tree given the qb play in maryland...

Now that you mention it, I did couple weeks ago in the other threadif it comes down to ridley and moore, im still going ridley without even thinking about it, and after shittons of analyzing im still going ridley, and its not close. dont let the hype train get you, moore very well may end up the best wr from this class, i think theres a good shot it happens as a matter of fact, but ridley leaves zero doubts, absolutely none, and if you have doubts on ridley it was probably a spoonfed helping of anti-bama kool aid from the buffoons who think any prospect from bama should be ignored due to ozzies "bias". moore is still unproven, he shows a toolkit that suggest hes able to run a full route tree, but hes never done it against competition, so who knows. on film his hands arent exactly elite, very good, but they raise some eyebrows with the occasional clap catch and the late-secure catches(when the ball moves loosely in his "possession" for a good while before being secured). he isnt perfect, he isnt a day one slam dunk, its a lot of hype and buzz.
the simple fact is that moore has a lot of stuff that a lot of receivers can do, ridley has stop-and-go explosiveness that is absolutely unparalleled, he changes direction and stops on a dime and explodes every which way in a way that ive only seen antonio brown do, and he does it at a much taller and longer build which makes it fucking impressive, and scary when you think about how well he can gain separation by doing this, yet still being able to catch while covered thanks to the length and body control and ball tracking ridley has. people say moores qb play and playbook hurt him, but no receiver can use this excuse more than ridley(moore can use this excuse as much as ridley, but not more lol). jalen hurts for years has sailed balls 20 yards off the mark, i cant count on both hands how many times ridley had his man/men beat so badly you couldnt even see a defender on screen, and hurts sails the ball into the uprights while ridley is near the pylon, maybe not this exact scenario but ducks comparable to this. hurts was absolute fucking garbage and honestly destroyed a top 5 prospects draft stock. im willing to bet our resident bama nut @allblackraven would attest to just how badly hurts killed ridleys first nfl payday
There's no WR in this class that can use QB play and/or offensive system as an excuse much more than Ridley.
Ridley is a notch above this entire class.
welp, there it is lol.Now that you mention it, I did couple weeks ago in the other thread
This is something I agree with wholeheartedly. I believe you're only getting a taste of how good Ridley can be based on his college film.welp, there it is lol.
i get the love affair with the late riser/hometown kid, hard not to jump on that train, but i stay level headed here and keep hype out of it. i wish i could find the comeback route that ridley ran that basically sealed the deal for me, it was the single most impressive piece of route running ive ever seen from ANY wr, college or pros, and ive watched probably more wrs than any position come draft season(except for maybe edge rushers, theyre usually my favorite position to scout)
