Broncos @ Jets: Move over Patrick Mahomes & Lamar Jackson, the next great QB matchup has arrived. Introducing Sam Darnold of the New York Jets taking on Brett Rypien of the Denver Broncos. Both teams come into this game banged up as the Broncos will not have pass rusher Jeremiah Attochu and Right Tackle Elijah Wilkinson. The Jets are just as banged up in what could be Adam Gase's final game as the Head Coach with rumors saying he is feeling pressure to perform and we could see our first head coach firing on Friday Morning. Perhaps just like Ryan Tannehill, all Sam Darnold needs is to get away from Adam Gase to play like the number three pick he was selected to be.
Colts @ Bears: After benching Mitchell Trubisky, Nick Foles returned as glorious as ever as he caused Falcons fans to have yet another meltdown after leading 29-10 and losing. The former Super Bowl MVP has his hands full with the Indianapolis Colts who moved to 2-1 on the year last week and stand in the way of the Bears first 4-0 start since 2006, the year they went to the Super Bowl. Has Christmas come early in Chicago with St. Nick Foles leading the Bears to yet another victory on Sunday?
Jaguars @ Bengals: Gardner Minshew & the Jaguars travel to Cincinnati to take on Joe Burrow & the Bengals who tied with the Eagles last week. Minshew and company look to bounce back after a tough week where they didn't have star Wide Receiver DJ Chark who may not be available this week. Joe Burrow looks for his first NFL win on Sunday and could very well get it if DJ Chark misses this game as it was evident Gardner Minshew and the offense clearly missed his presence.
Browns @ Cowboys: The Cowboys are a onside kick recovery away from being 0-3 as things haven't started off well in Dallas for Mike McCarthy in his return to the sidelines. The Browns meanwhile need to prove they can beat good teams, after losing to the Ravens they beat up on the Bengals & Washington to be over .500 for the first time since December 2014. Dallas is a good team, and if Cleveland can leave Dallas with a win, perhaps for once the Browns won't under perform and finally live up to their expectations. As for Dallas, a loss here would drop them to 1-3 on the year and doubts would start to sink in if Dak is the long term guy in Dallas.
Saints @ Lions: The Saints go marching in to Detroit to take on the Lions who are coming off a road win against the Arizona Cardinals. New Orleans looks to bounce back following their shootout with the Packers and keep up with Tom Brady & the Bucs. Luckily the Saints did see a major return in practice, star receiver Michael Thomas. If they get Thomas back, it will test a banged up Lions secondary who may not be able to keep up with the firepower of the Saints on Sunday.
Seahawks @ Dolphins: Russell Wilson's Road to MVP takes him to Miami to take on The Beard of Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins. The Dolphins got their first win of the season last week against the Jaguars, but look for this to be an one sided game as the Dolphins don't have the offense to keep up with Wilson and company. Will Wilson continue to lead the way in the MVP race or does Fitzpatrick have a huge upset hiding up his beard?
Chargers @ Buccaneers: The Chargers get a first hand look at what they could have had as they travel East to take on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. After a doctor mishap, Justin Herbert was thrown in to the starting job and has impressed in his first two starts. Taking the defending Super Bowl Champs to overtime and coming up just short against Carolina last week. If Herbert performs well here, it will continue to make it harder for Anthony Lynn to go back to Tyrod Taylor once he is healthy.
Cardinals @ Panthers: Matt Rhule got his first NFL win as a Head Coach last week as the Panthers beat the Chargers. They look to build off that win against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. Kyler Murray has shown improvement early in his second season but threw three interceptions last week in the loss to the Lions. The Panthers are hoping to get back Left Tackle Russell Okung who missed last week's game, otherwise Chandler Jones will be in the backfield all game.
Vikings @ Texans: This game is still scheduled for Sunday currently, and it will be a face off between a pair of 0-3 teams whose Head Coaches may come onto the Hot Seat with a 0-4 start. The Minnesota Vikings have never lost to the Houston Texans, ever. A 4-0 record against Houston coming into Sunday, Houston looks to change that but to do so must keep the Vikings offense in check. The Texans allow an average of 31.7 points per game to this point, while Minnesota gives up 34 points per game. Which team will come out victorious and which Head Coach will go on the hot seat following a loss?
Giants @ Rams: Joe Judge heads to the city of Angels looking for his first coaching win in the NFL, but to do so has to find a way to keep Aaron Donald away from Daniel Jones. The Rams seem to found their magic from 2018 and are off to a 2-1 start, while the Giants continue to seem loss as a Franchise and stuck in the basement of not just the NFC East, but the NFL. Already without Saquon Barkley who tore his ACL, the Giants offense looks to find a way to score against Jared Goff & The Rams.
Patriots @ Chiefs: Tom Brady was finally out of the AFC and every team rejoiced as the it seemed the Patriot Dynasty was done for. Unfortunately for the AFC, Patrick Mahomes & Andy Reid have slid into the spot previously occupied by Brady & Belichick and look to be on their way to being the first repeat Super Bowl Champions since the Patriots. Now the Patriots aren't going away quietly as Cam Newton has the Pats at 2-1 following their win over the Vegas Raiders. Can Belichick and Newton keep up with the high powered offense of the Chiefs?
Eagles @ 49ers:
Falcons @ Packers: As a joke, the Packers defense should let the Falcons build up a big lead so Aaron Rodgers and company can dash the hopes of Falcons fans with yet another comeback win. Arthur Blank won't fire Dan Quinn as he is willing to see if they can bounce back following their 0-3 start, a start they haven't had since 2007. The Packers put up 37 points last week against the Saints WITHOUT Davante Adams, I can only imagine what Rodgers will do to the first team to lose back to back games when leading points or more.
