Week 5 Discussion (Time to Worry?)

Hall of Famer
With recent news of positive tests in Tennessee, New England and Las Vegas, it may be time to start worrying if the season will be delayed at any point if things don't get under control ASAP.

Buccaneers @ Bears: The Buccaneers are looking for their first 4-1 start since the 2005 NFL Season, 15 years ago. 15 years ago Tom Brady was a baby at 28 for the Patriots & at age 43 is looking to give Tampa it's best start in 15 years. Nick Foles took over the Bears in time to give us a Super Bowl 52 rematch as Brady looks to avenge one of his ghosts of Super Bowls past. Does St. Nick have enough magic to outduel Tom Brady once again or will Brady get the best of Foles this time around?

Bills @ Titans: Forfeit?

Panthers @ Falcons: It seems no matter what the Falcons do, they just can't win. They have leads, they lose. They let the Packers lead and tried one of those fancy comebacks, and they couldn't even do that right. At 0-4, the Falcons are still searching for their first win of the 2020 season while Matt Rhule has the Panthers at 2-2 after a shocking upset over the Cardinals. Is it me or did Tom Brady do some trickery and turn the NFC South into the AFC East?

Raiders @ Chiefs: The 2020 Kansas City Chiefs may not score a lot of points like the 2007 Patriots, but they do have what it takes to finish the 2007 Patriots couldn't, the perfect season. Everything just seems to be working there in KC, and don't expect the Raiders to pull a rabbit out of their hat and pull off a upset on Sunday. They will need lady luck on their side to pull off this upset.

Cardinals @ Jets: IT'S FLACCO SZN in New York! Our boy Joe is back in the lineup as a starting QB as Adam Gase recklessly played Sam Darnold through injury during last week's loss to the Broncos. Perhaps Jets management realizes they are in position for a once in a lifetime prospect and firing Adam Gase too soon may ruin those chances. Unless of course Joe Flacco transforms into an Elite QB and pulls off the upset against a Cardinals team looking to get back on track after losing to the Panthers.

Eagles @ Steelers: The Battle of Pennsylvania takes place in Pittsburgh as the Eagles take on the Steelers. The Eagles are currently in first place with their lone win coming last week against the 49ers and they almost blew that. Pittsburgh's pass rush should easily handle a banged up Eagles offensive line making Carson Wentz see Ghosts perhaps. With a healthy Big Ben, the Steelers look to be back to being a prime contender in the AFC, if Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid fell off the face of the earth.

Rams @ Washington: If there is one constant in the NFL, it's dysfunctional teams who draft young quarterbacks and expect them to develop when they are given nothing around them. Dwayne Haskins is the latest example as Washington has now benched Haskins in favor Kyle Allen, despite not even playing a full season as a starter. The Rams look to complete the 4-0 sweep against the pathetic NFC Least after beating the Giants, Eagles and Cowboys already in the first four weeks.

Jaguars @ Texans: The Texans fired Bill O'Brien, the GM AND Head Coach and begin their coaching search before any other team. Another Head Coach on the hot seat is Doug Marrone who also should have been fired in the offseason. Perhaps Minshew Magic was just meant to be nothing more than a bunch of Internet Memes as the magic seems to be gone. If the Texans get their first win on Sunday, could Doug Marrone be the next coach gone in the AFC South?

Dolphins @ 49ers: Jimmy G returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the last two games due to an ankle injury. Shanahan has said he won't reveal if he will return against Miami but didn't name a starter between Nick Mullens & C.J. Beathard. Will the Beard have what it takes to pull off a upset against the 49ers or will the 49ers turn Fitzmagic into Fitzception.

Colts @ Browns: The Cleveland Browns are off to a 3-1 start for the first time since 2001, where they finished 7-9. Cleveland looks to prove they are real and ready to live up to their expectations that have been put upon them year after year. The Colts also sit 3-1 as this will look to be a potential wild card tiebreaker as the winner may get the H2H tiebreaker and the potential final seed in the AFC.

Giants @ Cowboys: The NFC Least takes centerstage as the Giants & Cowboys renew their rivalry as the Giants look to get out of the basement for at least one week. Clearly, the Cowboys offense isn't the probem. Dak Prescott isn't the problem but that defense who can't stop a leaky faucet sure is THE problem. Dallas has scored over 30 points the last three games and have only come away with one win. Who will win and come away with a potential division lead, who will end up in the basement?

Broncos @ Patriots: With the Patriots being their usual self and not saying anything about who their starting QB is for Sunday, it is unlikely Cam Newton will play and may miss his second straight game. Meanwhile Brett Rypien looks to again be the starter for Denver in what could be a unlikely QB matchup of Brett Rypien vs Jarrett Stidham.

Vikings @ Seahawks: Sunday Night Football heads to Seattle where Russell Wilson looks to continue to make a case for 2020 MVP against the Minnesota Vikings. Through four games, Wilson leads the league in Touchdowns with 16, meaning he is on pace to break Tom Brady's 2007 record of 50 touchdowns in a single season. The Vikings got their first win on Sunday against Houston as they look to get their first win over Russell Wilson who is 6-0 all time against the Vikings.

Chargers @ Saints: Due to Hurricane Delta, this game could be played in Indianapolis on Monday Night. Justin Herbert almost outdueled Tom Brady last week, and now gets the chance to outduel another future Hall of Fame Quarterback in Drew Brees. At 2-2, the Saints need to turn it around quick to keep pace with the Bucs to make their second game for the division title. It's clear Herbert is ready to play, but Head Coach Anthony Lynn continues to downplay Herbert's performances as it seems he refuses acknowledge what we now know, Herbert gives the Chargers the best chance to win.... period.

-Eagles at Steelers - Last time these two teams played, the Steelers got waxed 34-3. I think it's gonna be the same score......just the other Pennsylvania team will win.

-Cardinals at NY Ravens - The Jets really ARE the NY Ravens. Sam Darnold pulls a Lamar in the beginning of the game. He gets hurt and Mr. Flacco comes in with a perfect completion percentage.

-Vikings at Seahawks - This seems to be a reoccurring matchup kinda like Ravens at Dolphins.

#FlyEaglesFly and go Colts.

The number of snaps cordarelle Patterson takes at rb is pretty insane, he might as well make the full conversion at this point

I can't believe how close this game is heading in to the fourth. Does Foles have Brady's number?

Bears Field Goal is good. Santos makes a 38 yard FG and there is 1:13 left on the clock for Tom Brady to drive down the field to get in Field Goal range.

Just like Super Bowl 52, Nick Foles gets the better of Tom Brady. Bears beat the Bucs 20-19 and move to 4-1 for the first time since 2012.

I literally chocked on my wine when Brady held up four fingers last night! Today was a good day in Tampa Bay ^_^

I just don't get it. These other teams play KC so close including a rookie QB in Justin Herbert, yet we get blown out.

Looks like Atlanta is trying the strategy that failed last week, let the other team build a big lead then come back and win. Not sure if it's going to work this week either. Dan Quinn has to be fired for going 0-5 right?

chiefs are living rent free in Harbs (and Roman's) and Lamar's head.

The Eagles are on their way to losing, Washington is on their way to losing. Meaning the Cowboys can take the division lead with a win over the Giants, IF the Giants beat the Cowboys then the Eagles will remain in the lead of the NFC East despite losing.

How is Dan Quinn still employed? He needs a career change

I don't think that's wrong, but I also think Baltmore just doesn't know how to play from behind against any team (see Tennessee). They don't have much experience with it.
