we gotta get this fixed. this team doesnt stand a chance against the likes of KC and TEN and PIT if we show up in january and lamar looks like this, i dont care how good our defense looks right now, this game would be a guaranteed L if we came out like this vs one of those teams.

its not just lamar - albeit lamar has looked pretty awful - but its the entire offence looks appalling...

wtf was that RTP call? neither of them hit him late or high...

chuck clark has 2 picks the last 2 weeks taken away via penalty

honestly i am blaming the playcalling/gameplan, and lamar equally. because the gameplanning has been awful, play selection and situational ball has been awful, but lamar himself has been awful, hes been terribly inaccurate, hes had many moments of terrible decision making, mechanical breakdown is coming basically every snap at this point, like he literally has lost all of what made him great last year, he changed his mechanics for a year, he made great reads and was poised and patient, this is why he was able to prove his doubters wrong, and all of a sudden those finer points and intangibles are gone and i cant understand why, its very concerning.

We need to come out and DOMINATE offensively on our first drive! Break their spirit and show them that there is no hope to winning this game!

right now this offence is fundamentally and philosophically broken

1) it starts with lamar playing like trash and his mechanics have gone to complete shit and somehow seem to be getting worse week by week - im gonna be so pissed off if somehow we managed to break him in the space of 6 weeks
2) the running philosophy of this team is consistently getting us behind the chains and putting us in positions not to succeed - we need to rethink what actually makes us dangerous and understand what defences are doing to us
3) the passing concepts of this team are not working this year - those all-vertical concepts that we ran a ton on 3rd and long last year are not winning

mostly its a combination of lamar missing too many throws and playcalling hamstringing us

but it needs to get fixed because we're currently up 17-0 but our offence has less than 160 yards total

the most damning indictment ive seen of this offence so far - coaching staff didnt even want to try for 1 minute drive

Don't think it's an indictment at all. I'm pretty sure the last 2 times we tried those were both of Lamar's interceptions. Also he's not looked good today. I'll take the plus 17 and the ball out of the half.

I think this is more of a "Try to fix Lamar during the 2 week bye" sort of situation.

it has to be - because at the moment he looks awful
I think as Ravens fans we just have to stay positive through the bye week. The Ravens offense is one of the youngest units still in the league. The lack of an offseason was critical Reps that Lamar, Hollywood, and several others desperately needed.
