That guy is Tony Lombardi and I'm with you two- I don't believe a word he says and I could believe he'd spread those rumors. I read his articles because he puts in a lot of useful stats and info, but on the opinion pieces, he's a hack. I created a RSR account once just to discuss the 2008 draft day with him and it was such an unintelligible argument and he eventually just broke down to insults and nonsensical dialect to try to make his point.

I also want to know how he'd have better insider info than a Hensley, Zriebac, etc.
I don’t like Lombardi at all, either. He’s very lazy in is research and when he writes articles he will pick and piece to fit his needs.

if we have to play the titans yes i agree!

Out of an odd curiosity ourside of Jax who do you honestly think the Ravens can't beat in the playoffs?

The AFC West teams are not impressive, the Titans aren't ready so that basically leaves Jax.

Steelers, chargers, pats, jags is who i know for sure we cant beat

So how did the Ravens come that close to beating them already?

The Ravens match up so well for the Pats you would think its a divisional game.

Chargers are overrated and overhyped based on one strong win against a team that benched it's good QB for an ill-prepared tookie.

dolphins beat pats last week, however they dont stand a chance vs them in playoffs! The chargers arent over hyped based on one strong win lol! youre listening to too many " experts" and notevaluating yourself! Yes we play pats very well but that doesnt matter, i dnt see us beating them in playoffs. We simply are ready to be contenders! Its not hard to observe .

I actually watch almost every game which is why I think chargers are overrated. The "experts" actually talk like you and think they have a viable super bowl chance whereas I can see them for what they are, that team that is not ready. You see a couple of them make the playoffs every year in the AFC and you always know they are going to lose to Steelers, Pats, Denver (when they had Manning) or a couple years ago even us. There are only a few teams that can REALLY make a run and that the Pats, Steelers and Ravens. Nobody else is capable of beating the Pats and Steelers and honestly I expect when Ravens get bumped it will be to one of those 2.

Also the Dolphins beat the Pats not because they cant in the playoffs but because the Dolphins match up well with the Pats and always have. Football is not a power ranking where you total your teams power vs there teams power, its a game of matchups.

For example the next time they play the Ravens can shift Humphrey onto Brown and probably keep him to around 100-125 yards receiving (a good performance but not what he did) and assuming Mosley's performance was an odd aberration (he really had his worst game of the year by far last week) the Ravens match up pretty well on defense with the Steelers. However, the loss of Shazier hurts them more than Jimmy hurts us because they literally do not have 1 player who can fill in for him and the ones they use all have weaknesses that can be exploited.

On a similar vein matchups are the sole reason Jax scares me. They can take away the Ravens strength on offense and exploit the weakness so its always painful to watch that game.

Absolutely, Tom Brady career wise is 7-9 in Miami in December I believe. He's not particularly good there career wise and they have always matched up well against them.

Football is a game of match ups and that is why we nearly beat Pittsburgh. I think next time we will be more prepared and will be able to stop Pittsburgh in regards to Browns performance. I really agree with what you said in terms of Shazier's loss. That one hurts bad because Bud Dupree and Arthur Moats were flat out terrible in setting the edge. Bud looked didn't want to disengage blockers and left space around the edge and attacked too wide. Honestly, Bud has been terrible against the run and so has Moates. The Steelers as a whole will have trouble setting the edge without Shazier.

Losing Jimmy sucks but at least we have guys who can cover in Humphries and Canady, they have no one who can set the edge at all. Football is about match ups and it depends on who can exploit them best. Without Jimmy Pittsburgh threw it 66 times, and without Brandon Williams they ran it 44+ times. If we play them a 3rd time we will have the luxury of being more prepared to cover and defend the run.

I'm honestly more scared of LA then Jacksonville simply because the post-season is where QBs make their mark. I fear the match ups of Rivers much more then the match up of Bortles.

i dnt think chargers are a power house i just think that our team arent contenders yet! Yea maybe hump can hold him in that range but remember JU JU didnt play, so now we gotta worry about everything! If we were fully healthy with jimmy, tavon, yanda. Id have faith in us going against any team. I honestly had the steelers winning it at all, but with no haden and shazier idk if they can handle pats unless their offense just cause crazy, which it is very capable of! Yes the nfl is about matchups but how well do our team really match up vs steelers and pats when we have a rookie cb, a below avg cb in carr and an unproven slot guy in canady?

The chargers are so much different then the normal AFC teams that have no business being in the playoffs. For one, they have a a probably future HoF quarterback who’s very capable of taking over a game. They have several very good weapons on offense and it’s impossible to stop all of them if the offense is clicking, which it has been. They have a good secondary and the best edge rushing duo in the league. The Chargers are very capable of making a deep playoff run and have no business being in the conversation with teams like Miami last year, and possibly Tennessee this year if they make it, teams like those don’t belong in the playoffs. The chargers do. This year both the Patriots and the Steelers have big weaknesses and by no means are unbeatable. This is the NFL, it all comes down to whoever is hot come playoff time. Not necessarily who is the best team.

Titans have no chance at making it any where. Chargers i can see in the SB along with the steelers. Chargers has a great secondary and nice pass rushing. Steelers and chargers are my SB picks and my money is already on it

But...they are both in the AFC
