Week 5 Discussion (Other Teams)

Firstly, thought this question was about fantasy. Lordy I'm tired.
Second.. Yes, but why would Tampa Bay ever take that even with the kicking struggles tonight? Evans is a supsrstud. Guys like him don't grow on trees.
I'm not saying it would happen (it clearly won't), but I'm just thinking about it in terms of the true value of a kicker. With Evans playing they may or may not win (Winston has other throwing options, and players compensate for losing guys like Evans all the time), but if Tucker was their guy they would win - that's a fact. And if they go on to finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs by one game, how can you accurately price the impact of a guy like that? Especially with how close NFL games can be.

Evans doesn't grow on trees, but looking around the league neither do guys like Tucker (we're lucky enough to be in the same situation as the Cheetahs and Cowboys in that all we have to do is pay our guy as much as he wants every time his contract expires, give him the longest deal we can and forget about it until that contract expires) - and it's not unreasonable to think he's worth 2-3 games a season on his own, whereas with a general player that impact is a lot murkier. I think even as much as we appreciate Tucker, we may be underrating him a little. So it's interesting to think about what people might want in return for someone like him or what they'd give up.

i'm rootin for the jags today. they lost a top receiver but they have weapons and lots of drafted talent on D. Pittsburgh is a tall order but with a little luck I think the stealers can go down and we can tie for the division today

Random hypothetical, would anyone be good with us sending Justin Tucker their way if we got something like Mike Evans in return?
love evans but agree with blackraven, you cant trade a weapon like tucker when you have a qb that cant reliably get the ball to anyone
tucker on his own could get us to a wild card playoff spot. depends on harballs decisions

hugh Jackson has got to be the worst coach in the nfl
insists on stayin with that turnover machine kizer when hes got a qb on the roster to be reckoned with
