2018 Free Agency

These recievers are getting WAY overpaid. Hope Moncrief takes a lucrative contract. No more than $5M per year please.... Richardson getting his deal is obsurd

It's a passing league now a days that's why. The rules have basically forced teams to over pay QBs and WRs because the NFL have basically said if you don't have a offense you can't compete in today's NFL.
 
Bills to sign Panthers DT Star Lotulelei to a 5 year deal. Bills have already re-signed DT Kyle Williams to a one year deal.

Defense still wins championships though. I still think Pass rushers are the most important commodity in the NFL other than QBs

I think Miami and Washington are out of WR race in round one, which means the #Ravens could have their pick of the crop at #16.

Hopefully every team is scared of taking a WR in the top 10 after what happened last year

i think john ross is a cautionary tale (much like breshad tbh) but the corey davis and mike williams injuries i dont think are going to put teams off a healthy wr prospect...
 
ive been really disappointed with jeff zrebiec the last few weeks - despite being THE beat writer he's often behind all of the nfl insiders and never seems to break anything or have much insight about what's going on inside the building - so many of his tweets start "im hearing" but its vague and is more than likely referencing the reports of other insiders/beat writers who got in on it before...
 
I honestly feel like Ridley will be a better pro than any of these free agent WR getting rediculous amounts of money. Even if we never give him that second contract im all in on drafting him at 16 to spend the next 4 years here

FA traditionally hasn’t been his thing, if I remember correctly. Think Aaron Wilson left him good Ravens sources, but FA is more of a league source need.

He now says we are in on Jimmy Graham but have an uphill battle with the Saints and Packers being the top 2 teams more likely to sign him.
