Not even once when Jimmy is in the line up has Antonio Brown recorded a 100 game.

When Brown was struggling with success a while ago against the Ravens he said in an interview that the reason why he doesn't get the best of the Ravens in their match up is he because of Jimmy Smith. He pointed out just how well of a job he does in coverage against him. The numbers and his testament speak for themselves. If Jimmy is in the game week 14 there is no way he records 200 yards, even if JuJu is there I'm fairly confident we walk out of Pittsburgh with the win considering that Humphrey's preformed exceptionally that game in his own regard.

In regards to Rice, he is 30 right now, turning 31, so how would he be 27 at the beginning of the season in the year 2012? He was 25 when he signed his deal, it's just nonsense to expect him to burn out at that age, even with the work load. You say there was evidence of him slowing down but remember, he signed his deal post 2012 in which he was coming off 2,000 yards from scrimmage season in which he posted career highs in rushing/receiving yards and touchdowns. There was no evidence of him slowing down and even the eye-test will tell you that.

How old was rice in 2013?? He wasn't playing all that well in 2012. Nonsense to expect him to burn out b4 28?? He can and did. Go over his 2013 tape. Wasn't same Ray Rice by far. Google how many running backs that were burned out b4 28!! Especially with a heavy workload!! Marion Barber, Arian Foster, Barry Foster, Marion Butts, Natrone Means, Jamal Lewis to scratch the surface. Even Tomlinson and Eddie George were shells b4 28. Running backs slowing down well b4 30 is very well documented. Only a moronic GM would give a high dollar 5 yr contract to a running back with high mileage and visibly slowing down. He never landed with an NFL team cuz he was a shell of his former self. If he was coming off a big year and looked explosive he woulda played again. A team woulda signed him. But he was visibly a shell of the franchise running back he was. The ravens gave a big contract to a declining running back.

i kind of agree - he's gonna get borderline number 1 wr money but that's not who he is - he's a solid number 2 who needs some manufactured touches in space to get properly going on a consistent basis - he's a strong slot receiver but im not sure he's gonna be worth the money he gets offered elsewhere

The numbers he's put up the last three years don't qualify as being a WR1? He's a reception machine and incredibly reliable, play and health wise. He's worlds better than anyone we have on the roster, and I'd gladly overpay for his services. He'd be perfect here.

in landry's case the stats and the film dont quite jive - he's a good slot receiver with really nice hands and good in open space once the ball is in his hands but he also requires touches to be manufactured his way sometimes and he absolutely is not a number 1 receiver and defences treat him accordingly (and if he were a genuine number 1 wr then he wouldnt be hitting the market)

I don't know man. We've never seen eye to eye when it comes to Landry. I think he's an absolute stud and a sure-fire WR1, but I can agree to disagree lol

I think it’s a combination of both Lee and Robinson hitting free agency at the same time along with finding Cole and Westbrook. They also don’t have the same amount of cash they have had the past few yrs and will need to resolve the qb situation.

If it's between Lee and Robinson and I'm JAX GM, I think I'd spend around 2 milliseconds thinking about who to pay.

Landry has limitations. But he isn't real explosive and has trouble getting behind defenses. His 10 yards per catch shows that. He has about everything else you would look for in a NO.1 receiver. But he doesn't scare opponents like a NO.1 receiver not get the attention that creates space for his teammates. He has a Devante Parker on his team.

they also recently paid allen hurns i suppose but i still dont know that they keep lee over robinson

exactly so much of his production is predicated on him not being the number 1 receiver

And what I'm saying is, he will get top dollar on the market, and not live up to the deal. Not fizzle out as in just stop giving a shit about football. Robinson probably gets the top deal, but I think Landry will be only slightly behind him, and Robinson will be elite while Landry is average. Now this also depends on the team he goes to, if he goes to GB or the rams or something where he isn't asked to be the focal point then he should do fine, but he's gonna get #1 money and never be a #1
