If your going to knock Humphrey for a bad play, you might as well knock Jensen for his.

I certainly don’t do this, but you do it all the time and never give credit for a good play.

i only knock hump because its the same thing i saw from him in college! i love cornerback and S position so i always be tougher on those guys! Iabsolutely have no idea what im looking at when trying to evaluate an olineman

I think power is here and on it's way. James Hurst and Urschel were the last remnants of the pure zone days. Alex Lewis and Nico Siragusa and Jermaine Eluemunor clearly signify a desire to get more power.

Speed on the dline (and the edge) is necessary -- and it could be on its way. Draft picks like Brent Urban, Bronso Kaufusi, and Willie Henry again show a clear desire to get more athletic on the interior. Two were hurt last year, and the healthy guy surpassed expectations. Only time will tell whether Ozzie relapses and drafts another Terrence Cody. Boy does Ozzie love big and slow. But there's a reason our interior pass rush has always been so bad. There's little athleticism there.

had we played other teams starting QB i'd have probably been right.
We'd have probably lost vs indy and Gb among others.

okay, we'd have likely gone 5-11 again had other teams opposing QB's not been hurt. Deep down you know this. Our record against the starters was what? did we actually beat a starter aside from dalton in the 1st game?

We beat who we played and we beat many teams soundly. The Steelers played the same teams we did outside of KC and the Pats. Btw, if you are going to say we played them without their starters, we were much more injured then they were and add in Joe, he was injured also. He may have been on the field, but you saw how we played offensively in the first half.

If he was healthy we likely win 11 to 12 games. I don’t care who we played.
 
So his predictions are built on other teams not having injuries? Not exactly the best base to work off of but whatever

but i just dont see how what you're seeing in the pros really bares any relationship to what we saw on tape in college...

look at the tape of marlon vs aj green in the bengals game... marlon looks phenomenal and at least once in the game aj green has to play defence - this is the same aj green who has smoked us in the past

Flacco is a dunce with no passion akin to a robust log of wood. Harbaugh is nothing but a quotation reservoir. Marty is unimaginative and really, really irritating. Ozzie is weak because he doesn't seem to have a point of view that is his own. DeCosta wants to hide behind Ozzie while making GM type money. Pat Moriarty is a cap management mega failure ( just look at the cap shit we've been in for eternity with nothing to show for it). Bisciotti so badly wants continuity with the fervent hope to become a carbon copy of the Steelers. He won't fire anybody if they pissed on his office chair. It is just a fucking hot mess and the attendance seems to reflect it because the fans are perpetually pissed at our inadequacies.

ps: Oh and Pees is retired now.

I really doubt Ozzie is going to sign him back. To best honest if he wants 10 million plus a year I don’t think he is worth it. I love him but that’s way to much. I never thought about Skura but yea that gives me hope. He played center st duke right?

If he wants too much we will let him go to another team. For the most part I liked what I saw from Skura. From conversations I had with members in the preseason, I’m extremely surprised by that. He could be a very good fit at Center if we don’t pay Jensen. Would I like Jensen to be a Raven next year, yes I would, but the Ravens shouldn’t overpay him either.

I love what he brings to the field he really does finish every play but no way do I think we should or will overpay for him
