We do not want Jimmy Graham. Trust me. Would like to see what Gilmore and Waller can do next year at TE with the guys we have.

Well I can tell you based on history that Gilmore will have a great opening half of gane 1 then get injured and be out for year.

Maybe he's getting advice from Jimmy and Nick on a good cycle routine. Maybe make it to week 9.

I think it might be a small blessing in disguise that Brent Urban got injured this year. I think he is a very underrated part of our defensive line and would love to surely see him sign a 3-4 year 8 mil dollar contract. I don't think anyone else will be interested in him and it seems he was going to go off this season. Chris Wormley and Bronson really fucking suck, no way to hide it. Saw nothing promising. The coachs didn't even want them on the active roster. Honestly are d end position was really shit this year and a major reason we allowed so many rushing yards. Now another thing I'm too lazy to find actual stats on, but this guy has to be one of the best kick blockers I have ever seen. I'd guess he has about 3. I know 2 off the top of my head, and they literally were game-winning blocks. The kick 6 against the Browns was all on him, and week 3 last year vs Jacksonville turned an almost sure loss into a win. We blocked so much stuff the last few years, and from what I can recall we blocked 0 this year. That really sucks. Make Baltimore home you big Candian!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Urban. I said it at the end of last season he would be a big presence on our Dline this year. And he was on that road until he got hurt. The man is a fucking monster and I really believe we missed him more than people think when he went down. I’d love him back here but idk if we resign him. We don’t have a lot of cap space and he won’t be a priority.
And in terms of blocking kicks, he’s awesome and it definitely helps that the man is like freaking 6’8 haha

I’ve always liked Gilmore, he’s a tank. But didn’t we give him an injury settlement and cut him or something?

Had very high hopes for Waller, but at this point he's looking like a habitual stoney. Gilmore had potential too, just can't stay glued together.

This won't be popular at all, but cut/trade ALL the vets who will save significant cap. This move depends on if certain guys are tagged or not. It's time to free up some space and make some moves. The only person I might consider keeping is Yanda, but Suggs, Weddle, Carr and Maclin... Let them go. You too, Webb and Howard.

We lose Jimmy our D fails. Howard is our starting RT and Weddle was 2nd in INTs this year. Why make the team worse just to sign other vets who may or may not work out?

Hey you conveniently forgot Flacco!

To sign actual playmakers if they become available. Let's be very clear. We can't draft offense so we are left either trading for or spending on in FA. Weddle is old and if you didn't notice, we lack range on the back end. Also, with so many young guys coming back from IR, we could find a fix at RT. Whatever we've been doing isn't working. And if Jimmy hasn't stayed healthy since 13, what the hell does it matter if we keep Weddle just for everything to collapse anyway? It's time to start looking to the future and clearing some of these guys out.

There is also the fact our schedule was mostly composed of bottom tier teams and back up/rookie QBs. We need more athletes and at least ONE weapon that a defense has to respect.

Eh, I'd like to keep Howard at least until camp. He's at least a strong backup at three positions. Cut em all but Yanda and Howard. We don't have the depth or talent at OL to cut them.

Which is why I said I'd probably keep Yanda. I think Howard could be a replaced, but get where you're coming from. People have to see that the patchwork job we're doing isn't working. I think with an OUTSIDE hire at DC, they could make a noticeable difference with the group we have, even with Weddle gone. Also, this isn't the 90's, you need speed on the backend. I can almost guarantee that had we played a real schedule, people might be more inclined to go the route I've said. I would seriously target Gabriel and Robinson while seeing if we could retain Wallace at a reasonable price.

I thought going into the off season there would be more cap flexibility, but think I was wrong. Do you think we fix the offense with what's already in place and the cap space? I'm starting to wish DeCosta had been hired by the Packers so he could use their scouts to give Ozzie advice for skill positions.

The thing about these actual playmakers though is that half the time they crash and burn in a new environment. So it really is cut the starter we have who is performing well for the CHANCE at another player who MIGHT perform well or might also crash and burn horribly.
