Adam Shefter on NFL live:

“What if I told you Ravens C Ryan Jensen will be the highest paid Center in the league?”

Get ready folks. Jensen’s gonna get paidddd

I want to keep Jensen but no way should he be the highest paid center in the league. Thanks in advance to whoever signs him to a big contract for giving us a 3rd round comp pick next year.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for a 3rd. With the number of QBs out there, that alone should push Jensen to the next rung. That doesn't include guys like Norwell, A. Robinson, maybe Jimmy Graham who will all likely outdo Jensen's yearly average.

interesting that nick easton is getting a 2nd round tender put on him after we shipped away to move up in a round without him even playing in a preseason game and then he got dumped on the vikings in a part exchange for gerald hodges lol

he did really well this year with the vikings until his injury

Packers are apparently interested in both Allen Robinson and Sammy Watkins. Now there is talk one of Nelson/Cobb could be let go in Green Bay to make room for a high price FA.

League Source also says Jimmy Graham is expected to sign with New Orleans in a reunion or sign with the Packers. So there goes Graham.

there's no limit on the number of comp picks in each round though so as long as his deal is big enough it doesnt matter that their deal blows his out of the water i dont think

i was fairly certain nelson/cobb would be cut even before this - interesting that the packers are gonna pay another wr rather than other positions - they'd have 4 fairly large wr contracts on their books (until they cut cobb/nelson) but even 3 is a fairly large portion of their cap space...

Screams smokescreen tbh... Packers have a ton of needs on the defensive side of the ball.. And they need a RB far more. Why go get wideout for Rodgers... He needs a TE, RB, Defense more.

Seems illogical

That’s what I thought as well

I’m just hoping the bears sign a wr we aren’t interested in so they go another direction in the draft.

Think they will draft Edmunds anyway

Someone on Twitter said that Robinson told him that while who your QB is, is not the deciding factor of where he signs but it will play a part in it. Well.... he's ours for sure. Who doesn't want to catch balls from Elite Joe!

This is correct. Some yrs have more or less in each round.

the problem im having with working out just how big the deal will need to be to get the 3rd rounder this year is that i have no idea where the cut off was last year because the gap in contract values between the lowest 3rd round comp pick and the highest 4th round comp pick is like 4million so the cutoff could fit anywhere in that gap + inflation

so the minimum it could be is likely around 10.5mill but it could be potentially as high as 13 mill
