Audition season for big deal in 2019.Josh McCown not only re-signed with the Jets but was told he was the starter for 2018.
These are essentially my sentiments as well. He's actually a pretty good WR when he's healthy.Curious to see the numbers if this does happen. A fan of the Brown as a player, but as everyone mentioned, durability has been a major concern. Not much left on the market otherwise with promise though.
Jordan Matthews, Terrelle Pryor, Mike Wallace,John Brown, Dontrelle Inman, Ryan Grant, Micheal Floyd, Brice Butler,Eric Decker, what receivers are even left on the market now?

LOL hahahaha. If you're optimistic about the Ravens and you don't view muscles as the goal of life he's rarely going to agree with you.
The latter mentions are becoming redundant after being in three straight posts. Agreed on all accounts otherwise. These are essentially my sentiments as well. He's actually a pretty good WR when he's healthy.
When is he ever healthy?

I'm a pretty big fan of his explosiveness, reliability, and his ability to make really good adjustments when thrown. He's as well coached as WRs come. If we do actually get lucky and he's healthy... That's a significant upgrade. The latter mentions are becoming redundant after being in three straight posts. Agreed on all accounts otherwise.
You guys hear the Packers are going to release Jordy Nelson. Please I need to take a break and wipe some tears away at the moment.
Calling it now. Our haul is John Brown and Jordy Nelson.... Then we focus our other efforts in FA elsewhere.yeah it's official - i thought he was gonna retire but jordy's apparently gonna keep playing too
Not care about the overrated and overpaid FA WR and aim for cheaper position in FA while preparing to go all in on the position in the draft? That would be my guess.Lee and Richardson are both gone....
I'm actually not mad. They were a little overhyped on here. This wouldn't solve our problems.
I am starting to question what our strategy here is
Agreed on all accounts. If I'm writing out the contract, it would definitely be incentivized.there had better be injury clauses on everything except the signing bonus - i dont know what the yearly average should be - its a hard one to predict except for the fact that there shouldnt be much guaranteed money at all
The Dixie Dregs?id almost rather we got rid of maclin and just went with the dregs at wr
I think thats very likely that we give him a 1 year prove it deal or 2 year team option kind of deal. Low risk. High reward. Thats how Ozzie plays his cardsI'm a pretty big fan of his explosiveness, reliability, and his ability to make really good adjustments when thrown. He's as well coached as WRs come. If this is a one year deal for not a lot of money.... This could actually work out really well for us. Solid route runner too.
