these moves ONLY make sense if we are drafting a couple of receivers high
John Brown is a high upside wildcard who would be an excellent 2/3rd receiver when healthy
Ryan Grant is a slot receiver also with a lot of upside as a 3rd receiver type

but... neither of these guys are gonna test the intermediate defence or draw double teams or threaten - those players are gonna have to come from early on in the draft

Why not give that same contract to Nelson? Terrible contract for a meh WR. No cap as is but we do that? How much dead cap will be left after we release him in a year or two.

We better have a Dez trade in the works or we may still sign Nelson.

I was open to seeing how this offseason would pan out, but this is getting into "physically taking the draft card away from Jerry Jones in 2014" territory.

We were promised a WR overhaul, and we're bringing in John Brown and Ryan Grant to replace Jeremy Maclin and Mike Wallace. What a dick punch of an offseason this has been so far.

I'm not mad. Guys, let's not forget that in order to get a guy like Robinson or Landry we would have to outbid for them. That's not gonna happen lol.

I have never heard of the guy. What worries me so much is, with Ozzie’s track record of taking chances on WR’s, I don’t trust taking a chance on a WR this unproven.
