actually, Jensen showed SERIOUS flashes. It was urschel that none of us liked.

I dont have Skura or Hurst in the jensen category oh hope. Jensen had some riduclously good games ( and some bad ones) before getting the sgaring job. Urshel and hurst have never have spectacular games..mostly average to below to average and in hursts case at tackle..atrocious.

Well then Ozzie better fucking do something about this line. At the very least new two starters. I doubt we will, but I’m okay with being proven wrong.

I'm not saying you in particular because I took a nice long message board sabbatical, but I can pretty much guarantee that if I went back to threads last year, I would find a ton of people clamoring for Nick Mangold back when that was a thing, and that was tied to a lack of belief in the C options at the time.

Hurst was better at lg than you think, and Howard was a pretty horrible run blocker.

Only thing I'm with you about is skura, he is poop. But dude you are seriously overreacting about hurst and losing Howard.

And to be honest... I think I like hurst over Lewis at lg. Lewis' feet are as bad or worse than hursts, and hurst is stronger after a couple years in the weight room.

The whole process is a joke at this point so doubt anything will happen, although it is stupid lol. This whole "legal tampering" thing where figures aren't supposed to be exchanged and visits aren't supposed to be scheduled... no one really listens.
 
what the hell is legal tampering anyways. when you assign stupid titles to things, it's no question people don't take it seriously.
 
I know there's a love/hate with Incarcerated Bob, but he said the Raiders should do their best to keep Jordy Nelson in the building today because the Patriots and Ravens are lurking. I'd imagine he would pick the Pats given the opportunity, but it seems there is serious interest on our part. Lots of reports of the Ravens being in on him strong.
 
Former Packers' WR Jordy Nelson in demand: Visiting Raiders today, then scheduled to visit the Seattle Seahawks, then the New Orleans Saints, per source.

no mention of ravens in there - i imagine its in the ravens' interest for him to go to the raiders and then for the ravens to pursue michael crabtree if he's released by the raiders

Well I admit, you make a good point. I was worried about Center last season and Jensen surprised me. Maybe Hurst can be an okay Guard. I just do not want to take a chance on him as a Tackle. I would rather Yanda play RT if needed to fill in.
 
Really wouldn't mind Jordy here. Let's not forgot he had a great year last year so I really wouldn't mind if we took him since I'm certain he still has some game left in him.
