2018 Free Agency

No way he was gonna stay......but I am relieved as well.

yeah the phew was the most important part of that post lol - its not a surprise that he's gone but im glad that it means we absolutely are not done at wr (i mean we wouldnt have been anyway but its a relief to know that the front office have no option of leaving the corps alone - means we either have another free agent incoming or we're going to get aggressive with receivers in the draft)

Thank god lol. Adios, Mac. Thanks for nothing.

Only 14.5 guaranteed. I know the total money seems like a lot but Ravens can easily get out of that contract with little dead money

i did a long post breaking down the numbers earlier in the thread if you're interested - I reposted it in the ryan grant john brown welcome thread too

siragusas injury was the absolute worst possible. I wouldnt hold out much hope. He tore his ACL, MCL, PCL, LCL

it's a horror injury

Is there any update on him? Will he be ready for training camp? Last I heard,
He did a 2nd surgery

from zrebiec - this doesnt tell the whole story but it does seem partly indicative of our bad offence last year (as well as i think woodhead played)

"Ravens three biggest offseason additions on offense last year: RB Danny Woodhead, WR Jeremy Maclin, OT Austin Howard. All are gone a year later."

I'm not saying you in particular because I took a nice long message board sabbatical, but I can pretty much guarantee that if I went back to threads last year, I would find a ton of people clamoring for Nick Mangold back when that was a thing, and that was tied to a lack of belief in the C options at the time.
no question, there was shit load of people who wanted Nick Mangold into preseason.

Hurst was better at lg than you think, and Howard was a pretty horrible run blocker.

Only thing I'm with you about is skura, he is poop. But dude you are seriously overreacting about hurst and losing Howard.

And to be honest... I think I like hurst over Lewis at lg. Lewis' feet are as bad or worse than hursts, and hurst is stronger after a couple years in the weight room.
Could very well be true, but we haven't seen Lewis in our current scheme either. Lewis was a pretty darn good pass blocker though in year one.
