2018 Free Agency

The comp pick can go to Hell. I love comp picks but at this juncture we need guys who can actually play. As for money being obligated for future years, I would simply just not worry about it because I think the plan is to dump Joe Flacco and move on from him ASAP. That would get us out from underneath the mountain of debt we’ve put ourselves into over these recent years. That’s why I would really like to draft a QB in the first even if we need to trade up to do it. If we feel we can get that guy, we absolutely must trade up to get him. This is probably the best draft to do it. The other position groups just aren’t strong but I really like the QB class at the top.
I agree, we have a proven starter. I would rather have that than a comp pick. I hope Jensen can be resigned without breaking the bank if possible. Do you think with all the QB movement in FA that one of those top four could fall to 16? I feel there may be an outside chance now.

Jenna Laine:

--I'm told that the Bucs really love Ryan Jensen. He fits the new mentality they want with their offensive line -- absolute dogs in the trenches, guys who are "full of spit and vinegar."

A trade up for a qb likely means a move into the top five. For a franchise guy I would kick the tires as well.
