he's a really solid wr - i find it weird that the jags have let robinson and hurns go but kept lee out of that 2014 class...
he was their best receiver in 2014, was overshadowed by robinson breaking out in 2015 but still put up 1000 yards and 10 tds, but he's lost a lot of targets to marquise lee and robinson and now westbrook too

ill admit i havent paid close attention to the why but im surprised by how down his production has been the last couple of years - i think he's had a couple of minor injuries and has maybe lost favour - in 2017 he had an ankle injury to finish the season and westbrook and keelan cole were stealing targets too

as a non-jags fan it's hard to tell why he lost all those targets...

Don’t think so at all. First off it’s hard to rely on Maxx staying healthy. Also, we don’t have any one who can get vertical down the field. It’s really unfortunate that Ben Watson suffered that injury because he would have been the TE we badly needed but it seems he lost a huge step to that injury he suffered.
 
I will say this though - Hurns has had difficulty staying healthy and I’d be hesitant to sign him to a longer term deal. He’s got upside though.

On another note, I’m so jealous of the way teams can find undrafted WRs and turn them into starting caliber guys, I guess like we do with LBs and D-lineman...maybe Tim White will be our guy

I agree however maybe only a fe teams find great wrs but the rest just find wrs that fit their system or just knows how to get the best out of them.. with our QB and offensive system stuff like that dont happen
 
I like the idea of Kendall Wright coming here...haven’t heard much about him lately.

Also do you guys think we maybe give Martellus Bennett a look?
 
Ryan Grant: 1 year 5m deal
looks like he passed the colts physical because it was a different type of deal

that's a prove it deal and he'll try and get that ravens-esque deal next year

That’s a hell of a lot different than the deal we gave him lmao

Don't think there will be any interest in Bennett. The guy gave up in GB last year. He would not fit with this team at all.
