Funny how things work out when you also consider OBJ is on IR and can't play against the Giants.

So we need Anthony Lynn to not screw up coaching tonight so the Chargers can essentially end any playoff hopes of the Raiders with a win. Likely hood he doesn't screw up..... ZERO.
 
There goes the Raiders chances of winning... Derek Carr suffered a groin injury scrambling and it seems he may be done for the night.
 
Ok I spoke so soon.... Marcus Mariota comes in and leads a scoring drive for the Raiders. Mariota finds Darren Waller with a 35 yard TD to put the Raiders ahead.
 
Michael Badgley misses a potential 51 yard game winning FG... wide left. Raiders now have a shot after the timing of the Raiders first sack all game.

Chargers once again in another nail biter.....
 
Chargers kicker missed another FG. Thank God for TUCKER! These other kickers are horrendous!

Then the Raiders botch the snap on what would have been a NFL record 65 yard try lol. That entire sequence at the end was just terrible by both teams. Now we have to endure 10 more minutes of this game after that.
 
Damn.... Josh Jacobs almost bulldozed his way into the end zone. Damn man, already dealing with Chubb and Henry, now you add Jacobs in the AFC. EDC better build a defensive wall in the offseason.
 
Raiders fall to stay behind the Ravens on that "bubble" and now we need to beat the Jaguars and for the Dolphins to stumble against the Patriots to secure that 7th spot.
 
I thought for sure they were going to say he did not get in and was short down by contact. Very surprised they didn't take time to review this and ruled it very quick.

So this helps us by essentially ending the Raiders playoff hopes. Herbert is going to be a great QB in this league, just sucks he plays for the most snake bitten team in the league.
 
Drew Brees returning this week for huge marquee matchup against the Chiefs. So this looks like it will be the only Mahomes vs Brees matchup we will get if Brees retires after this year.
