Idk how they calculated it and what sources they use. I did break it down per team as it's easier to look at team totals instead of looking at each game.
Ravens receivers dropped 4% of all attempted passes (Lamar, RG3, Trace and Huntley) which is 7th highest in the league.
Then I excluded throwaways etc... and they dropped 5.9% of these passes (still 7th).
Contrary to popular believe our receivers only dropped 1 percentage point more passes than the league average.
It happens to the best wr corps. I think we overvalue drops because we don't pass as much as as the rest of the league. And I believe our drops happened during crucial moments.
Route running and ultimately getting open is more of a concern than catching for our receivers.
