Mock Central

That's not what I said. What I said is there are people out there saying it's absolutely DeCosta's pick. Talking like they know. They don't. People who say they know what happens in the FO are 100% shit.

Now you can make hypothesis of course, who wouldn't? My point is, all we say is hypothetical. For all we know, Eric might be making all the picks, some picks or absolutely none. All one (media and fans) can do is speculate.

no worries dude i must have misunderstood what you were saying - i thought you were saying that people who didnt think it was ozzie 100% were idiots

Nope, everyone can think and share their opinion, I wouldn't spend so much time on this forum if I didn't think that lol.

I'm never one to avoid a player due to school and recent busts(I've been an avid supporter of USC WRs for years) but after correa I can't draft another speedy motor based LB from Boise... no fuxking way lol

If that's how you see Van der Esch, you might want to look again.

Ya thatd probably be the smart thing to do. So whats the position with the least amount of depth in this class??? Pass rusher?
TE is pretty slim. To me there's 4 guys who'd come in and be day one impact, and after that there's a big dropoff, with Thomas and Akins as wild cards.
The same can be said for C if Jensen is gone.

I haven watched much. I looked at one game on YouTube, noticed his speed and motor immediately(like someone else from The same school at a similar position) but also noticed weak shedding and the occasional bad angle, and seemed to react rather than anticipate most of the time, just a run and chase guy.

But this was only one game, and idek if I finished it. I wasn't in the mood to study prospects but I had nothing else to do so I just skimmed through a few 3-4 min videos of some guys.

Well considering my opinion of Mark Andrews.....theres really 3 TEs who can come in and make an impact, with Thomas and Akins as wildcards

He does struggle AT times to get off blocks because hes still pretty slim, but he does a really good job using his length to avoid blockers. To me hes a MUCH better athlete than Correa and has more room to grow into his frame, unlike Correa was comming out. Hes got his best ball ahead of him and for a one year starter to post 140 tackles 3 ints 5 PD and 4 FF is unheard of....hes gonna blow up the combine and probably have a 40 inch vert at 6'4 240.....better version of Dante Cunningham last year

Like I said I barely watched him. I have a sour taste for Boise defenders lol

Totally makes you think twice or not about selecting him

Typically TEs don’t make a big impact year one. They have an adjustment period. Sure in some cases they do well, but I would never expect it.

Ya that does seem to be the case more so recently. Most of the time its because the top TE prospects have such a steep learning curve at the next level than most positions. Theyre not used to blocking guys who are on the edge at 6'4 250.

However, I do think Gesicki and Hurst can be impactful year 1. Gesicki has elite highpointing ability matched with great size. I think he'll be a huge redzone threat for any team and has 8-10 td potential. Hurst is already 24 or 25 and has the size and athleticism you like from a TE. Other than that i think everyone else will have limited roles, Goedert could but idk how he handles the big jump
