Mock Central

Every single one of them are avg players imo. Foster looks nice going forward though but the rest of them are avg players.

well the santa clara DA's office just released the fact that Reuben Foster is being charged with felony domestic abuse...

but also you have a very weird understanding of the word "average"

I can't see how the Packers pass but if he's our pick my brain will implode.
While it'd be tempting, they need a lot of help on that defense. If he's there, might be best for them to trade down for another 2nd round pick. Grab someone like Bryan with a lower pick in the 1st, then an edge rusher and maybe a corner or safety in the second.

Teams are starting to fall in love with Lamar and we're going to trade back for a king's ransom tanks to that.

Average? No.

Not your cup of tea because they aren't flashy ballhawks and double digit sack artists? Sure. But call it what it is, don't claim they're average when they aren't. They're well coached players who dominate the fundamental aspects of the game enough to have lasting careers on first and second down at the bare minimum, and those are just day 2 guys like Reed and Robinson, guys like Mosley/HHCD/foster who go round one are among some of the better at their position.

I'd honestly be sad for the kid because they have no offense save for Johnson and a year of Larry, and they'll force him on the field when he's not ready.

They got sam Bradford who is perfectly good when on the field - so Lamar can be the backup and as long as Bradford lasts longer than a game they don’t have to rush him onto the field - is Baltimore really a better spot?

He would be a backup in Arizona for a solid half a game

Bradford and no OL? He'll be the starting QB after the 5th snap of the first preseason game

This isnt a mock per se but I was listening to the Around the NFL Podcast and they had Josh Norris from Rotoworld on so I went and checked out his big board and ive not seen a media big board that i liked as much in some very cool ways

http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/cfb/78731/325/norris-top-50-big-board

i love that he has josh rosen number 1 and the next qb not even in the top 20 (while i think not having another one of the qbs in the top 20 is a bit much i agree that to me there is a large gap in football terms between rosen and the rest of the class)

i also appreciate personally that he has nelson over barkley by 1 spot but that's just me lol

isaiah wynn in the top 10 and the 2nd OL prospect is something i havent seen anywhere else too

maurice hurst i dont have in the top 10 (mostly because im building a ravens board and i dont want a defensive tackle lol but he seems like the forgotten dlineman because of the heart thing at the combine - but even before he was never thought of in the same terms as payne and vea publicly)

anyway - im posting it because i thought it was a fairly interesting big board even if it is 3 weeks old at this point

CBS sports has us drafting;
Mason Rudolph
Christian Kirk
Ian Thomas

kirk and thomas in rounds 2 and 3 would be unbelievable but mason rudolph is not a 1st round player
lamar jackson i could get behind but mason rudolph is not a player id be comfortable taking in the 1st round and probably wouldnt like it in the 2nd either

at the moment my qbs are on my big board like this:

2. Josh Rosen
7. Sam Darnold
8. Baker Mayfield
18. Josh Allen
22. Lamar Jackson
64. Mason Rudolph

and to add some perspective i still have some 2nd/3rd round guys to finish grading and input onto the board so rudolph could drop further... (he could also move higher but not 2 rounds higher)
