Playoff Picture

We have 4 home games and two away games and one of the away games is at Cleveland. I am feeling pretty good about our chances as long as Stanley comes back before Hurst gets Joe hurt again. He is a horrible Tackle.

I enjoy watching preseason because I like to see how good our depth is vs the opponents.

me too - especially seeing the udfas who are gonna make the team - and it gets me excited for the future - it tells you things about your young guys - henry, urban, jaylen hill, pat ricard were all great guys to watch in the preseason and it carried over to the regular season

I know. I never understand when fans don’t watch preseason. However those are the casual fans that don’t get into the player evaluations and only watch the game and only understand the basics.

i dunno - surely even the casual fan would be intrigued to see what their new rookies and free agents look like on the field for the first time...

I know it is dangerous to show optimism toward this Ravens team, but the picture is starting to shape up to be encouraging.Had Watson not gone down, Houston would be the primary threat. Still, the game next week against them is absolutely must win. Sorry, I know, I know ... not by the most literal definition of that term, but it just is.

Buffalo in free fall and are @KC. A loss for them there will be nice. They also have the Pats twice down the stretch.

If next week breaks our way, I think we're kind of in a drivers seat.

From NFL.com "If Baltimore gets a competent offense, the Ravens will find themselves in the playoffs in January. That's how good their defense is."

Yes, competent is all we are asking for from this offense. If we can stay healthy, we might have a chance to achieve that. They weren't terrible today and they clearly had issues with Stanley out. He needs to get back and we can't afford any more injuries of any significance on that side of the ball. If we do that and play pretty clean ball, I agree with this sentiment - I really think we can make it.

FWIW, I thought coming into this game GB had a pass rush that was really underrated. I think they have some good edge and inside rushers and do a great job penetrating the inside OL.

It was a bad performance from the offense, but with Hurst at LT, I really didn't expect much. Look back to Dallas match up against Atlanta and see how big of a difference a bad LT makes.
