Carolina under Matt Rhule has now used his first 8 picks on all defensive players as they chose 7 defensive players last year. Their new GM came from Seattle, so they are getting their Carolina LOB key piece.

with how much of the clock they used, my guess is they probably were trying to trade down
 
there is clearly some team that's trying to trade up into the top 10 but not offering enough... panthers and now broncos taking the entire 10 mins

i watched that Auburn game live and i was blown away by him, straight dominant. He was on my prospects to watch list going into the year and he just kept rising his stock each week

Yeah I think they were banking on a team coming up for Fields or Jones and just didn't get the interest they thought their pick would. This is just interesting, so much talk about trading up and down yet no trade. Fields & Jones looked like they weren't on the phone. Perhaps Surtain? Parsons?
 
panthers and broncos both seeming like they were looking to trade back

cowboys definitely a team that probably wants to trade down too - but doesnt seem like there's much interest for teams to come up this year
