Cincy reunited Burrow & Chase, now bringing home the hometown kid in Carman. I just can't believe Carolina traded with the Bears and gave up Jenkins, thought for sure Carolina would have took Jenkins themselves.

my guess is they value his likely inside/outside versatility - a lot of the other tackles on the board are probably tackle only types
Yeah, and the inside of the Bengals line is far weaker than their tackle spots. Him starting at RG with the possibility to kick out to RT works for them.

Also they signed Riley Reiff a couple weeks ago who also has the versatility to play tackle and guard.

OL still going heavy. Lots of guys that I would have had in the 3rd coming off the board right now

Obviously we still need some sort of body that can actually play T at an NFL level, but the more guys that go off the board, the more you have to question whether it makes sense to go OL in a bit. Do we really need another Phillips, Bredeson, Powers type? Do they make a difference at this point?

absolutely not - agreed 100%

but there's still a chance someone's around - especially if it's at tackle...

Oh yeah not counting them out at this point. Still a few guys left. Just kind of makes you wonder what the plan is there if the draft doesn't fall our way at OL
