Welcome to Baltimore: Rashod Bateman

On the most recent episode Bateman posted, did you guys catch him weighing in at 199 pounds right before the draft? I found that interesting.

Not that I ever had a problem with his size but 6 foot, 200 pounds is plenty big enough to succeed in the league.

I’m about to watch it with an open mind, but after watching the Steelers WRs debacle last year with TWO social media “influencers” I’m not so sure about him having a whole ass series on himself

dude it's not really any different to hollywood's videos - it's just about the process and stuff - and the first vid (before the doc) is a cool thing he did with a girl with leukemia for her charity...

for sure - probably cut weight somewhat for his proday to run the 4.39

See my next post regarding this lol. I watched it and saw that it really was nothing like the Steelers receivers. I just go to his YouTube and see a 4 video series and my first thought was chase claypool who I really dislike lol

Claypool has the extremely negative influence from JuJu making him the way he is.

Man Bateman is gonna be good. I don’t see even Roman holding him back, and I’m really not envisioning much learning curve either, he had no business falling to 27. Don’t @ me he has plenty of potential to pan out as the best WR of this class, and the floor is pretty high too. He’s such a natural receiver, I’m excited af to finally have a receiver with his skill set, to have real solid speed and size and to play much bigger and faster than you’re listed, to be such a savvy, quick footed, separating, high pointing, press beating, just surgical ass route runner who can play both like a big man and as a burner.

man I don’t wanna crown a dude who hasn’t taken a snap yet, but it doesn’t matter who drafted him, there was no situation that I wouldn’t have expected him to succeed in.

The thing that I don't hear talked about much is Bateman having 33" arms. He has the wingspan of a guy that is 6'3+, longer arms than 6'6" Liam Eichenberg. People always say Bateman "plays big", the wingspan explains that perception of him. The catch radius is much bigger than his height indicates. Justin Jefferson also has 33" arms at 6'1".

He also doesn't turn 22 until November.

probably the safest wide receiver in the class along with elijah moore - chase had some issues with press at times but was otherwise pretty safe, waddle had the injury and devonta had the weight

Idk why but I have always been incredibly low on Waddle. Something has never felt quite right to me about him. I'm absolutely picking him to be the worst 1st round receiver from this draft.

And now here comes Tyreek Hill 2.0
