2022 General Draft Thoughts

Thought I'd have a go, I'd be Ok with this.

Pretty light on DL until late and my board was pretty much cleaned out for that 6th round pick - but im a big fan of all those first 6 guys in combination

but i think there's a pretty reasonable chance that neither boye mafe or quay walker make it into round 3 - it's possible one or both of them could sneak into R1 too tbh

Yeah I don’t see mafe making it anywhere near round 3
 
Spend our money on Corners this free agency and I’ll be down with this mock.

ive still struggled to find any decent tape of him - but i will say from what i saw i just never could quite buy into him - awesome traits (although might be a little stiff-hipped) but despite the range etc. seemed to be more of a box-type safety

just not confident about him at all - and probably that's just because i cant really find any decent film to work from - but it's also that ive not been entirely convinced by what i saw on what i did find

i imagine his range is going to be somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd but idk whether i like him or not yet lol
 
I think im on the Jermaine Johnson at 14 bandwagon now. He looks like a stud. Sorry Ojabo.

Could you imagine adding Johnson, Winfrey, Jones, and Beavers to the front seven? Also, Bubba Bolden feels like a better version of Clark, and Christian Watson is the big, sure handed wr this board has been asking for for years. Just all around this draft would be great.
 


if the NFL doesnt listen to the agents and change the combine schedule around we may see a scenario where a load of the top guys just pull out of the testing portion of the combine completely and just decide to turn up for the weigh-in and interviews only and then test at pro days

nfl really fucked this up (especially after they decided covid was a non-issue for the postseason)
