2022 General Draft Thoughts

If sauce or stingley comes within range, we def trading up for them so be prepared lol
Both will be long gone before we can consider trading up, unfortunately. If one of them slips past 11, I think we need to give up a 4th and trade up a spot or two for either of them or an OLB.

If KT, sting, sauce, or Hamilton is available at 11 and it takes 2 4s to move up for any of them, do it. I’d even do a 3+4 and then I’d do my damnedest to trade back in round 2, even multiple times to try to maintain 10 or more picks

This is wild because I have watched his film and I so strongly disagree with all of it

KT has some flaws/questions about his tape, but the idea that explosiveness is one of them is ridiculous lol - that's like the 1 thing everyone loves about him (even those who arent fans of him)

Anybody think there will be a guy who is totally not even a top 25 talent picked before 14? Like a total wild card?

will be interesting to see - definitely in the top 20 (there always is some wacky/wild pick that seemingly comes way too early) but im not sure whether that would be in the top 14 or not

but when it happens it's normally either a QB, an OT or an athletic freak

outside of the QBs the only guys who really fit that bill are trevor penning or maybe someone like lewis cine...

Let’s dance.

if that's what's going on then i dont believe they like any of the QBs - if you like one enough to draft them at 15, then you like them enough to draft them at 6

only way i see this being a realistic goal for them is if they truly have massive grades (and no preference) on 3 of those QBs so that they're supremely confident that 1 of them will make it to them in the middle of the round

Or they feel confident enough that no other team rates them that highly, which would be quite contradictory and risky. I'd lean toward the former - that they aren't all that impressed with the options

In light of this news regarding Carolina looking to trade back, would you be opposed to trading 14 and 45 to get up to 6? And who would be your ideal target?

For me I’m down and I want KT or Sauce
