ah - i know the play you're talking about then... context is that they were in hurry-up/no-huddle and gassed the georgia defence - georgia then spent the next month conditioning so it wouldnt happen again

and then Davis continued to condition tf out of himself to the tune of a 20lb loss and gaining shit tons of agility in the process.
I firmly believe Jordan Davis is gonna be a machine against both the run and the pass. I just don’t see any other outcome as long as he stays in shape and healthy
I he still was a 2 down player in the big game even after better conditioning though.. he reminds me of vince wolfork… well possibly a lil better version..
But they also had Devonte Wyatt and Jalen Carter. It's hard to judge that Georgia front 7 because they had the most insane depth. Even the top guys like Nakobe Dean got rotated out because they just had so many damn good players.

Vince wilfork is not the freak that Jordan Davis, that’s a massive stretch.
i mean it is statistically worth noting just how much of an unprecedented freak jordan davis is...
he set all those athletic records for explosion and speed for athletes over 300lbs... at 340lbs...
there isnt a comp for him which is why it's somewhat difficult to project him because vita vea was a very different kind of athlete

There really isn’t a comp. It’s always the easy route to comp a raven but haloti ngata comes to mind for sure

Davis is like putting a bull in the middle of the defense. He mainly just charges straight ahead, but damn if he won't destroy anyone in front of him.
If a good coach can improve his technique just a little, like get him to stay lower and improve his hand usage, he could become a dominant force in the NFL.

I was referring to game play but as much as a freak jordan is, he only had 2 sacks and was only 2 down player who wasnt conditioned well.. thats all im getting at. I wouldnt be upset if picked him but he would have to show me thst he is more than just a 2 down run stuffer or he will forever be trash lol.
He isnt explosive off the los though at all
Bigger and more athletic than the guys like snacks, vwilfork. Has crazy potential but his game right now is actually that of the great stuffers that were once in nfl
Ngata's probably the best athletic comp for Davis... but still hard to see similarities in their game lol
