2022 General Draft Thoughts

Sure, makes sense. I bet not every team feels that way, but I am sure some do. I think its a guarantee Stingely and Sauce are both gone by 7.
Oh yeah I agree. I think Sauce, Ekwonu, and Neal are next in line after those 4 if it actually played out as the rumors suggest right now.

Sounds like the Texans have done a ton of homework on Stingley. Question with him has never been talent - he's superior to Sauce in just about every category. Questions with Stingley have been the foot injury recovery and him not being all there mentally (on the field) since 2019. Easy things to course correct when you get inside of a building.
I know one thing about sauce….. he wants it bad

I'm getting that feeling that we're not going to be able to trade up for a corner or premier edge. That means look to trade back, but if we can't and have to stay pat I think we're squarely looking at:

McDuffie
Booth
Davis
Lloyd
Penning

I agree, I think this is very possible.

I think KT is our best bet. If he makes it to 10, I bet the FO is thinking hard about making that call.

My preference is Sauce because I know he's the sure thing. Stingley has the higher upside, but give me the guy that I know if he gets in the room with Marlon and Marcus is a lock to be big time.

Agreed. I just can't see him getting there
I think it depends. You have Atlanta and Seattle at 8 and 9 that both need just about everything. Atlanta has long had a bad sense of where they are and what they need as a team. Seattle just straight up evaluates prospects very different. Not saying KT does make it by them with any certainty but I also think there’s a very real chance both of those teams could look other directions.

I think it almost have to be cb, pass rusher or davis in 1st rnd.. havent really watched lloyd but i feel other guys can help the team much more than he can

Ya know if you're right then it's unlikely the Jets take KT after taking JJ

Im saying the guy is mad about the snap count being similar so he wants people to call booth a zone cb just as they do mcduffie when its more than just the snap count for the reasoning…Slay plays good in man also but we all know he is at his best in zone so a lotta people call him a zone cb, well atleast cowboys fans do lol.

he's not mad lol - he's just pointing out that it's interesting the way we stylistically perceive those players despite those snap counts being quite similar

ogden's the guy who's put out a ravens specific draft guide on about 100 prospects for the ravens a couple of weeks back

why do you think sauce is the surer thing?
I guess I should just preface with I'm not saying Stingley isn't really a sure thing. I think he's a great prospect. It's just with Sauce you've got no injury history, no bad tape, no TDs given up, and a great attitude. I just don't see how it gets more sure than that
