Next Up: @Pittsburgh

I've said this before I'll say it again..the loss of shazier is a bigger deal than the loss of jimmy. The steelers secondary and ILB is among the weakest in the league. It's up to Joe fluccko and the crew to play a decent passing game.

The battle ( which we'd have won easily with Yanda in the team) that concernes me the most is Tuitt, Heyward,Hargrave vs Jensen, Hurst and skura.

As far as the D is concerned, stop the run, double antonio and ST put us in good field position.

So will Perriman be a healthy scratch again? My guess is yes. Moore is taking his spot.

Moore's hands seem just as bad. He's smart enough to be valuable on ST at least. Pretty sure that's the only thing keeping him on the team. Just hope he can keep improving with the time he's earned.

Chris moore is a superb special teamer. He's way ahead of perriman at this point as far as harbs is concerned and rightly so.

Perriman might have surpassed elam as the worst 1st rounder in ravens history, which is an amazing accomplishment by the ''blessed'' one.

moore has it between the ears and perriman doesnt. hes smart, surprisingly refined, and confident, he just cant consistently catch the damn ball.

if he can get his hands together and catch 9/10 catchable balls thrown his way, rather than the 50%(not a real number) figure hes been at, then he could be a dangerous player, he gets separation at multiple levels, he can run sharp routes, he has a lot of burn to his game, he can get his hands on the ball, he just needs to hold on to them consistently. and as a special teamer hes been an impact player pretty much from day one.

ill take him and camp over perriman, let wallace and moore handle the deep duties, because at least moore can run a damn route. i say let perriman come back after steelers week, see if this lights a fire under his ass, because if we can get 2016 mid-late season perriman then thats a big boost, but if he continues to be 2017 perriman then hes a waste of a roster spot.

If we can just go to Monday early morning and find out the Ravens have blown away the Steelers the previous night would save my heart from a lot of palpitations. Please make the Ravens win and win big tomorrow night. Figure out a way to win this damn game.

Well we have to pressure Big Ben . If we can’t ,we are toast .

Oh I'm not worried about pressuring Big Ben. He is going to get pressured just given how long he holds on to the ball. But, my issue is how well he performs under immense pressure and his escapability. If you notice, almost all of Big Ben's big plays come under pressure when he is escaping the pocket and avoiding the pass rush. What we need is to be in his face and not allow him any pocket to operate from.

Ben is very dangerous when pressured. He is pretty amazing.
I think our toast factor lays elsewhere, like run stuffing and stopping the big play.

Yeah he’s a different Big Ben to even what he was last year (which was also worse than the rest of his career)
Different? Yes. But last I looked his team was 10 - 2 and the #1 seed in the tournament.
While the Steelers have won many games ugly, they aren’t in that position because they have a bad QB.
To state it bluntly, individual stats are for fantasy, wins are for real. Seems Ben is still dangerous when it matters most.

If flacco can't torch this weak defense ( outside of their front 7, i see no good players of note) then he ain't going to do squat for us going forward. this isnt the Jags secondary or front 7.

It's the Steelers. Even when we sucked two years ago we gave them a tough time. They hate us, they're gonna play us tough. It's usually never an easy victory(sans the three times we've kicked their asses).

We should be in for a hell of a game fwiw. But it's gonna be an L. I have a terrible feeling about this game
