The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Week 14 Edition

They normally wait about 10 seconds after placing it, the ref then rolls his arm to signal the clock is going. It seemed like total bs
I know how it works to signal, but the ravens were under the impression that the clock would stop from what I saw.

I agree but the playcalling on our second to last possession was terrible .

Foe sure, Marty is basically Todd Haley without 5 All-Pro players on offense, so stupid screens look stupid.

The amount of times in a game where a quick screen to a blocking tight end are a good idea is pretty much zero.

But the man put up 38 points. And he wasn't resoonsible for giving up 500 YARDS (!?!?!) on defense.

marlon played astonishingly well given how he was exposed last week once jimmy was out - hopefully it was a blip based on not being able to practice at all that week, lingering issue and also being thrown in at the deep end without being game planned for - because what he did tonight was impressive

carr shat the bed on the other side
Of course it was a blip. He's great player.

But thats what I'm saying, they didnt signal. They just placed the ball and immediately and the clock went. They nornally delay then signal to let teams get set

im so pissed off because the offence has now had 2 good games in a row - the ravens have scored 82 points the last 2 weeks - and the defence disappeared and it wasnt humphrey like we all feared it was carr on the other side
It wasn’t Carr, it wasn’t Smith being injured, it was the lack of pressure on a class QB. They have a bunch of guys that can catch and given the time Ben had to survey the field we were screwed. I hate to say it but I saw it coming.

I'd also just like to point out the half assed attempt to press Brown that essentially gave him what looked like a yard or 2 cushion.

I missed it. I was confused because Joe never actually went down and the ball went out of bounds. I don't understand the rule

did wormley get in the game at all?
the front 7 looked gassed but i didnt notice him in there once...
did he get any snaps or did i just not notice him?

The refs made the right call because the fumble went out of bounds so it was as if Flacco was sacked and didn't fumble. They just didn't communicate that to anybody because they were old and ineffective.
