Next Up: @Cleveland

That’s possible, but he would be smart to give Hugh Jackson another year.

im not so sure - if you're gonna clean house you might as well fully clean house when the coach is arguably the biggest under performer in the building

if im dorsey im looking for a new pair of hands to take on this football team and someone who feels the same way as dorsey about quarterbacks

I would take Stanley over Ramsey. We fixed up our CBs eventually and still got Tavon in that draft. But without Stanley, Joe would be dead.

i know we saw it in the evaluations of stanley but only recently (and specifically after his 2nd half vs clowney) have i fully realised just how long ronnie's arms are and his ability to hold rushers away from him - if he can develop taylor lewan's ability to lock in with one arm and then use the 2nd arm to control rushers he could be the best left tackle in the nfl because he has the tools and the temperament for it

They have won a single game in two full seasons. One game!!!!!! They may not be afraid of anybody but that's not going to help them much. If I'm on the Ravens team, I'm not going to Cleveland to be cautious, I'm going there to kick Browns ass.

I'm a homer because I'm confident we'll make a short work of the worst team in the history of football?

I'd hope that the Ravens wouldn't go into Cleveland being cautious but to let it all hang out! Cause if not, they'll find themselves losing to an embarrassment of a franchise.

I wouldn't say we're JAT. If anything tonight indicated that we're an actually healthy squad away from being very good if we can make a few key additions.

Remember, the AFC only has one real contender: The Patriots. And there time is coming up soon.

I know you have (unrealistically) high expectations for us(I know.. You want an all pro at every position. That's not possible. No team in the league has that). We hung it in there was a pretty good team tonight.

Fucking injuries.

Its not likely to help us, but did you see those Brady vs Miami throws? His accuracy was off and he definitely lost zip on the ball. His throws were biplanes in a jet age.

with all due respect, henry isn't some special talent. He's solid.
we have too much solid but not enough WOW

brandon williams is solid
Michael pierce is solid
Willie henry is solid

everyone is ''solid''

thats the problem..no one is DOMINANT in both Run and Pass

No playmakers but for aging Suggs.

the best rookies so far?

Humphrey
Pat Ricard

can't elevate humpf off one deceit showing. remember Melvin toast?

If you think this game is going to be a cakewalk you have not watched the past five or six Ravens Browns games.

They have quite a few one possession losses. Against good teams.

I have been saying for a while now ( eventually I will be right ) this team is going to be a thorn in the side of the AFCN.

I'm sensing an embarrassment, though I understand they have become competitive. Kizer can really fling it. Jimmy Smith is out. We have a questionable rookie at cb and slow, essentially non cover safeties. They are playing at home and looking to make a statement about their shoddy record. IF Kizer keeps his head we are in for a donnybrook.

If this had not been blocked...

Sorry buddy, Humphrey is going to be a very good corner in this league for a long time. This isn't elam or perriman. Infact he might end up being better than jimmy. I like what i've seen from him then what i saw from jimmy in his early years. He's also one of the youngest rookies this year. I think he's the youngest corner to be drafted in the first 2 rounds.

This may in fact be true.

I’m aware if they, but I’d rather have Stanley. I mean who would be our left tackle now without Stanley? Btw, I love Ramsey also.

Both are great players, but LT is a far more important position. Flacco would probably be in a wheelchair if we didn't have Stanley. That being said, Ramsey is the better player right now as he's already proving to be one of the best defenders in the league. Stanley still needs to work on a few things, but he still has the potential to be a top 5 LT.

Prince Amukamara should be signed for a year as carrs replacement. only 28-29 and had his healthiest and best season. Excellent and consistent corner with great feet

Stanley is clearly banged up. His performences can range from elite to below average. It's hard to have elite games at LT. needs to get healthy and build more strength. Once he does that, he'll be a top 5 guy for sure. great football IQ too.

I'd do anything to convince this FO to take the plunge and trade up for quenton nelson. This is a HOF potential guard. He's worth it. We can pound the ball down the left and even if the other team knnows its coming..can you imagine having Nelson and Yanda for collins to go behind with ricard?

That idea does have me salivating - I’ve been a huge proponent of Nelson from the start but i honestly think we’d have to give up a future first rounder just to get into the right range - and while I’m a big fan of Nelson being a raven I’m not sure he’s worth 2 first round picks

I’ve been a big time proponent of Nelson and you can find my article with gifs if you haven’t seen it. He’s amazing.

That being said, I agree wit Rossi, I just wouldn’t give up a 1st round pick to move up in the draft to draft him. Now if he somehow falls, which is doubtful, you definitely have to take him.

In hindsight, would marshal yanda be worth 2 first round picks?

thats how i see it

( and the answer is obvious for me)

GMs don’t draft in hindsight. It just doesn’t work that way. Even Yanda was drafted in the 3rd round. You would have had to been crazy to give up two first rounders for Yanda at that point.

Btw, you move up in 2007 and give up your 2008 1st rounder, we don’t draft Flacco and quite possibly don’t have all the playoff runs or a super bowl in. Again, we can’t be sure of anything, but that’s what would have happened by giving up the 2008 1st round pick.

Oh, we also don’t draft Ben Grubbs in the first round in 2007.
