The Oweh, The INT and THE OMG WE DID IT!!!

definitely saw Averett point off to him, directing him to take him.

yeah but my guess is that with how quickly he was there that he was already on his way before Averett pointed (probably why we didn’t see averett high tailing after the WR after passing him off)

Jimmy was limited last week. I don't think he plays this week, but I could see him ready to go in week 4.
I'm just surprised he's been limited for seemingly a couple weeks and still can't go. I actually expected him to go this week but he didn't. Think he's above 50/50 for Detroit.

if that's the case that would be great considering we are going up against Hockenson this week.

They said he never practiced fully last week - will be a big indicator of whether he’s gonna be ready to go if he’s practicing fully or not this week

With regards to the season being over, you're absolutely right. There was a lot of overreaction from the board. With regards to the OL, I'm not sure.

At least personally I did not suspect the season was even close to over. However I made a comment that last week's line was fundamentally flawed based on its performance. Then we get 3 changes to that line, Al moves to LT, Mekari in at RT, and Cleveland for Powers/ Phillips. I don't think it would have been reasonable to expect that group of 5 to play the way they did. It was really admirable.
Maybe. Or maybe the Raiders pass rush is really good (which it was yesterday too) and the Ravens Oline just didn't play that well on Monday night.

I don't think Cleveland coming in changed much, considering he didn't start and I thought Powers played pretty well. I think kicking AV back out to the left side helped, but I also don't think the Chiefs pass rush is anything spectactular.

That's sort of my point with all the Oline criticism. Any way you break it down, it's an insufficient sample size to make any judgments. That's both good and bad. Hence why pretty much any and all statements on this side remain as overreactions at this point.

Like you had all the clowns saying we needed to dump AV and get a new RT ASAP, and then all we do is flip him to a harder position AND put a backup in there who's never played a snap of RT in the NFL before, and we bullied the defensive front of the reigning AFC champs. That's all. No big deal.

Right, but I also assumed that being a full participant in practice isn't necessarily a prerequisite for him suiting up. I suppose him missing a large chunk of the preseason is part of that, but he's also a veteran.

Like I don't know if/when Ronnie Stanley will play again this year. Could be never. Could be next week. But I don't know if he'll get in another "full" practice the rest of the year, given his injury. The entire week is pretty much just finding a way to treat his ankle so that he can suit up the next week.

I think with how long jimmy’s been out they’ll want to see him fully practice first - he’s not played or practiced fully for over 6 weeks at this point

and we already basically know Ronnie won’t be playing this week - harbs said there was no chance he’d be playing this week and they’d reassess in the next week and a half which is not something you say about a guy who might play this week

Just bought myself an autographed oweh jersey for $90. Hoping he plays so well it remains in the family as a prized possession for generations lol

I mean it's generally good practice to collect an ample dataset before performing data analysis lol. I agree with you, a hurt Ronnie Stanley and an old first time RT AV got thrown into the fire against a strong pass rush. The Chiefs are not slouches in that department and we fared much better. Hopefully in the coming weeks we see that the OL can play closer to KC more often than to LV.

i guess that's what it looks like when you play 2 high powered offences through 2 weeks with missing pieces - your defence gets crushed lol
