but i dont like that call - just because it's short yardage doesnt mean we should run it up their gut when we're gashing them on play-action and play-action is very much in play on that down and distance

That's exactly my point. We like to run that play or the Lamar up the middle on 3 and like 3 or 4. I think we need more play action.
