Also I can't overstate just how overblown the Ty'Son Williams thing is. I bet you even Freeman could put 1000 easily on the ground if he was RB1 if we just call the right offense. Gus and JK are just dominant players that can singlehandedly enforce their will on teams. "Normal" running backs no matter who they are can't successfully run into stacked boxes every play. If the Ravens make defense respect the passing game, the running game will always follow

I’m not sure what commentary you’ve been reading some may be over the top, but you can clearly see a lack of explosiveness from Freeman. He has a tendency to want to dance before sticking his foot in the dirt to cut up field.
Murray just seems to pick the wrong hole to hit because he likes to string runs out wide.

Lamar makes things easier for all the running backs but Ty’son has had the fewest carries go for negative yardage out of them.

perhaps they could improve as the season goes on but the same could be said for Ty’son.
