Tbf fair, bucs actually put the lg on notice.. we didnt play great defense on kc at all, i mean they put up 35 points on us. bills looked much more effective but they also have much better lbs and safeties..

Bucs took advantage of 2 backup tackles and an injured sammy watkins

the 3 wins this year have dealt with full-strength KC

worth pointing out that their 35 points against the ravens included a pick 6 and 2 long plays where the ravens defence missed an outrageous number of tackles...

Quite frankly, the Bills came the closest. We got Madden Cursed though.
The ravens went up and down the field on the bills almost with ease, it came down to a few drops on third down, a windy af night with 3 missed field goals, and tyre phillips getting destroyed on what would’ve been an easy TD and the following play was a pick six.

the bills figured us out much more in 2019 than in the playoffs, that playoff game it just wasn’t our day, everything was going wrong, it felt like we executed 95% of every play and that remaining 5% would derail the entire play.

Mahomes and his passing antics have been “figured out” by the league…

you know what hasn’t been figured out? How to stop Lamar.

Stopping Lamar and the run game is simple, stack 8 in the box like we saw Denver do last week. Problem with that is Lamar is getting better passing every week so you stop the run, but now defenses become vulnerable to Lamar beating you with his arm.

As for Mahomes, I think teams just looked at what Tampa did in the Super Bowl and copied it.

Which is EXACTLY what we want. The continued emergence of Lamar's passing ability will now have defenses think twice of stacking the box.
